is that the Inquisitor wearing an Orlesian style Lion mask?
That was Cullen
Kind of curious that Cullen's hanging out with Morrigan riling up soldiers. She doesn't really seem like his type.

The Inquisitor was there. It might be that Morrigan was allied to the Inquisition in that particular moment.Kind of curious that Cullen's hanging out with Morrigan riling up soldiers. She doesn't really seem like his type.
Did I see a different spike interview than everyone else?
Yes
I just fangirl screamed and now I'm embarassed cause I know my neighbors heard. ![]()
Also her horns aren't tiny OMFGWTFBBQ.
It's really not that much, even without counting the size/distance sliders, esp since we have four races as well. So there's probably going to be some generic face issues going on.
Wrong, a Billion is one-billion. As in 1,000,000,000. If each combination took you one second to set and view, it would take you thirty years to see each one non stop. (A little over actually)
Granted, 99.999999% of those are going to look almost exactly the same, I'm not saying it's going to be impressive from a diversity standpoint. Just that one-billion is a ridiculously large number.
Hope bioware is not just going to use females all week for demos. other fans are men and want to see the broquisitor.
Female qunari mage in the demo? YES! That's going to be my first playthrough!
Same!
FemQuizzy ftw
I think in the wider world there is not so much interest in Dragon Age.
You can say that about most games that aren't named COD or Halo. Most games have their niche fan base and outside of that there isn't much interest. The wider world doesn't care about Phantom Dust, Fable Legends, or Mirror's Edge. Those games still need to be properly covered though. The way Dragon Age was treated by Spike was shitty. Frankly it was only 10 min so it's not like we were going to get much out of it anyway.
Thanks, Hrungr.
Yeah, botyh are definitely armed. Can't tell on Scribbles though. She is holding a quill in her left hand though.
That's all Scribbles needs...
Her sternly crafted letters are the works of legend.
That, and she is trained the deadly art of feather-fu.

Okay, because I'm really really interested in combat abilities and such, I'm gonna do some math.
21 Skill Trees equals 7 per class. Assuming this includes 3 specializations per class, this means 4 base skill trees, which is quite a few less than in DA2. So I assume they will be much more fleshed out and more general. For instance, I'm guessing for Mages, the 4 trees will probably be like in Origins: Primal (Earth, Air, Fire, & Ice), Spirit (Spiritual Magic a la Spirit in DA2 plus Arcane spells from DA2 and maybe some Force Mage), Creation, and Entropy. I could be wrong...but I'm guessing it'll work something like that.
250 abilities/upgrades. First, I'm gonna divide it in half to account for upgrades since those aren't new abilities in and of themselves. Now we're at 125. If I divide that by 3 for each of the classes, we end up with 42 (I rounded up) abilities per class. Divided between 7 skill trees, that's 6 abilities per tree.
Obviously, this is off somewhere. We already have seen a number of new abilities, though we can only guess at some of them since we haven't seen that much. But I'll continue with the Mage example.
We've seen Vivienne use a lot of new spells. For instance, for ice spells, we had 2 in DA2 (Winter's Grasp and Cone of Cold). In DAI's first demo, we saw Frost Glyph, Ice Burst, and Wall of Ice. In the new video, we see what I believe is Winter's Grasp (near the beginning), and there's another ice icon that looks like falling snow mapped to R1 (Blizzard, maybe?). If these hypotheses are correct, we're looking at 5 ice spells alone. So I'm optimistic about new abilities, but the numbers are tricky to work out. Also, Frost Glyph could be like Elemental Weapons: dependent upon the staff wielded. HOWEVER, I don't think they are because the gameplay trailer (released a few weeks ago) featured the Inquisitor wielding a fire staff casting a lightning glyph on the ground (I think).
Whew.
TLDR; Wooooo, abilities.
Broquisitor had 3 trailers to FemQuizzy's one.
I said demos not trailers i want to see him in gameplay demos.
All invites to the #dragonagekeep beta are done for today.

I'm a man, and I'm thrilled that they're using female characters. Not everything has to be men all of the time or even most of the time (since that's how the vast majority of games ARE most of the time). Also, they've featured the "broquisitor" a ton in promotional stuff, including stuff released today. I'm sure we'll see a variety of races and genders before the game releases, so relax.
Oh my gooooshh just saw this!
*FANGIRL SQUEE*
He has a gameplay demo from a few months back.
Bad quality from a phone at pax yeah. I want to see him in better quality at e3 it should not be female only all week.

6 abilities per tree, and an average of one upgrade per ability sounds pretty good to me. I can't remember how many we got in DA:II but I can't see myself using many more abilities than those.
From that same article what do people think of the judgement system? It sounds like we'll be able to actually deal out punishments to our enemies, that sounds pretty cool. I'm think research experiments, if that's possible. My Inquisitor's gonna be a bit of a mad scientist.
