So, judging by the fact that it's potentially the Red Templar's that have kidnapped/are torturing Leliana, I think they might have a bigger role in this then I first thought.

 

Admittedly I didn't think much of them at first until someone pointed out the Red Lyrium idol that drove Batrand and Meredith insane.

 

What if they're worshipers of this idol? Or even of Meredith?

 

They might have more to do with the rips then I first thought. (I mean, just LOOK at those... things Meredith did at the end of DA2)

It does sound like they are setting up the Red Templars to being a significant threat either closely related to the Big Bad, working for the Big Bad, or actually the Big Bad's factions. 

 

Personally though I am actually starting to get more and more curious about what the Venatori are up to.

I kind of assumed they'd be one of the major enemies. At the very least One of the major plots will be resolving their..issues.

I just... I just can't even. Dat trailer. And "Dorian" was more heavily present in it than even I could have hoped for. And demo tomorrow! And also, while I always liked Leliana and it not being unusual for her to be in my party in Origins, this trailer is making me itch to go back and replay it with her as a staple, just cause she's so badarse here.
