Speaking of demons, the guy with the venatori is a new kind that we hadn't seen until the trailer yesterday, right? It looks kinda tree-ish to me, maybe it's some kind of sylvan? It'd make sense for there to be a bunch of those running around, when lots of demons pour into the world and look for easy things to possess.

Well if they don't, someone with their cell-phone recording will. Might as well just release a good quality one.  A bad recording will just lead to lots of people starting useless threads about things they think they saw or heard.

It is also dragging in the dead body of one of your companions (Sera), so I'm pretty sure it's not on our side.

i actually put in some effort, its an elven servant girl or slave. different face/hair/clothes and no weapons on her. its just faceless dead NPC #452

Nice interview! We got some good information and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Finally we can have a DA game which has visuals that does justice to the incredibly rich world.

No, that is mot definitely Sera. Same clothes and same hair. Do you think there was just another blonde elf wearing kneepads around? The Iron Bull and her were holding the Venatori off and were overrun.

No, that's her. Look closer: it's her armour; those boots are unmistakable.

Maybe there will be like a dozen possible ways our companions might die in this game, if we're not carfeful enough?

This makes me wonder if the roles of the party members are randomized in cutscenes. For example, in that Venatori scene, two of your current members go to hold the gate and the last companion remaining stays with you.

Yeah, that's Sera.

 

Her left arm has the wristbands and armbands from the screenshot they released earlier this week. 

 

Doesn't mean she's dead though - they'd hardly show a companion death in a demo reel months before the game launches.
