Man, I'm so torn now on having her or Varric in my first party! Though hearing that Varric and The Iron Bull aren't going to like each other will suck... Hopefully it won't be like Anders and Fenris all over again.
I know...! Though both my canon characters are actually mages, I play rogues most of the time...but I really want Sera and Varric with me, we're gonna be buddies. Three rogues?? Not a bad problem to have I guess. ![]()
Not what we all thought. And it's since LI's aren't a "zero sum game" in DAI it just makes you look very spiteful to laugh at anyone losing access to an LI who interested them. (If sera was confirmed s/s and a similar comment was made, it would be just as rude as keightdee's)
This human... I like him, he said what we all tought.

All locked chests and doors will cower at their sight. XD
ALL THE LOOT ARE BELONG TO US.

Edit: Aaahh, that old chestnut
No one "loses access". One of the great joys of modern Bioware RPGs is the ability to play as a character of (almost) any gender and sexual orientation you choose.

People who wanted an m/f romance lose access.
Stuff it, I'm applying.
I put my Pottermore prejudice behind me, broke down, and signed up too:
People who wanted an m/f romance lose access.
I am not sure what to say. Are you loosing acess to other race specific dialogs while say playing an elf or human ?

Exactly.
I'm not crazy enough to enter a LI discussion*... yet ![]()
* Too ignorant on the matter since I'm not interested on that stuff.
I've got great news for you! You can play the game more than once, and as a woman.
Oh wow! It's the magic of multiplaythroughs! A-yep!

That was only one game, you can't claim that one of the great joys of Modren Bioware RPGs is that all your romance options are bi when it happened once, it wasn't true in any of the Mass Effect games and it wasn't true in Origins.
I'm not sitting here quietly hoping someone else screws up and reveals another LI, nope. what you all on about.
Was that last but based on the highlighted part? It refers to something else as well, but it was a Varric quote from some aveline and Isabella banter.Exactly.

And also the thought that apparently no one will just alter their playthrough if the characters romance matters that much*
I would guess they had it all planned since the beginning, so it’s like having a couple of different stories in the game: You are not loosing anything; you just can’t play one particular story they way you want it. It’s kind of sad I guess, but still much better when people could play ONLY one.
As for altering, I don’t know: but again, I am not that big on romance stuff, would have played te game without any romances in it.
On a side but still newsworthy note, Amazon sent email that the release for Dragon Age: Last Flight has been delayed until September 16, 2014.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
F***, now I have to go cancel it, and reorder it on Amazon.Uk once I know my new Scotland address. (studying abroad)

At least you found out with enough time to plan, though. I hate finding these things out when I'm expecting them to be delivered and they don't show up.
They've already explicitly said a while ago that characters will have defined sexualities this time around, so this shouldn't be unexpected. No matter who they picked to be F/F only would've upset some people, so please calm down. It isn't the end of the world, and there will likely be other characters you like to pick from for M/F anyway. Seriously, we barely know anything about Sera. Look at it this way, if they picked Liara to be F/F only, there's no reason to get angry or upset, because there's still Miranda, Jack, Tali, etc. to fall in love with. Personally I'm happy they're doing it this way this time around, because the all Bi setup from DA2 (and only DA2, I should add) felt weird.
I'm sorry..

I was gonna binge-read the whole thing on the plane ![]()
Now i'll just have to get it in the UK. *sighs* Well, hope the delay is worth it!
