Exactly. This is a term we haven't heard yet...

Influence points for the Inquisition?
I assume it's for unlocking locations you can claim as a base camp?

Hmm... I wonder if you spend time in game gathering reputation with certain factions, and maybe notable people? That would be fun. Particularly if the Hero of Ferelden (and maybe even Hawke) are those people!
I'm french too and Madame de Fer sounds french.
Just look up on the net , Madame is not just a title but can be used as a noun.
It's french if de Fer is a last name but if it's not you have to agree it's weird. As I said it's like calling a character golden or wooden mister ...
Anyway it's not bad enough to talk about it for this long ![]()

It's a nickname. "Iron Lady".
Alternative theory regarding the banner points: maybe if you choose to focus your energies on 'politics' via Scribbles and Co., you can spend points on gathering the support of certain notables? Then at some point you get to say 'The Hero of Ferelden supports the Inquisition'?

Even if they are dead?
From reading that I just assumed 'banner points' were specific places you can claim for the Inquisition, not actual points to spend on something.
Even if they are dead?
Well, we should be able to determine if they are dead through the Keep, so I assume if your Warden is dead, they won't be available to gain notoriety with?

True, it doesn't say 'spend', but rather 'claim' points in the name of the Hero of Ferelden. Similar but not the same, I agree.
IGN talks a little about DAI here:

One tidbit to note here:
We’re still not sure how the game ties in to all the choices you made in the previous games, but there’s clearly some significant continuity between this game and the others. You’ll be able to claim the banner points in the game in the name of the Hero of Ferelden, so there’s presumably a strong tie to the character from the previous games.
Omg. There's no way my inquisitor isn't gonna treat my warden like a god. His name will be evvvvverrrryyywheeerrre.
My two cents concerning the "Madame de Fer" thing ^^
"Madame" or "Monsieur" are good ways to adress a lord or lady in Orlais (much as when adressing a man or a woman in France).
Since she is part of the court (even though she is not noble) and an adviser to the empress, the use of "Madame" to adress her could fit ![]()
and "de Fer" would be because of her personnality.
As TheLittleBird said, it's oubviously a nickname ^^.
What about Hawke?
I want to claim something in the name of 'Waffles'.
Yes, you can only use Varric's nicknames for Hawke.

Ha! I agree. I guess if we can claim in the name of the Warden, Hawke is a strong possibility too - fingers crossed!

Any chance you could show us your female elf? We haven't seen one of those as inquisitor yet, and I'm really curious ^^

Would love to show her, but some things aren't final. Artists don't show my rough drafts, I don't show their temp appearances. ![]()

Dunno what we're discussing as far as abilities, but believe I can confirm Archer Rogue and Dagger Rogue as viable builds. ![]()

Ever wondered who would win a drinking contest out of Oghren and Isabela? I asked @BioMarkDarrah the tough questions http://savegameonline.com/c3-features/tash-interviews-mark-darrah-executive-producer-dragon-age-inquisition …
Tash: Three quick questions. First one. True or false? Nicolas Cage is the face model for Solas.
Mark: *laughing* Nicolas Cage is not the face model for Solas.
Tash: Is it true that David Gaider sustains his life force by drinking the tears of heartbroken fans?
Mark: Yeah, that’s probably true, yes.
Tash: And finally, who would win a drinking contest? Oghren or Isabela?
Mark: *long silence* I think Isabela would probably win.
Tash: Yeah?
Mark: Well, she certainly wouldn’t be above cheating in that contest. So I think she would probably win…
Tash: She’d use her feminine wiles.
Mark: Yeah.

Wow... I just knew this would come from a french guy. You are on the internet. Learn to discuss stuff in english for gods sake.
Not to be that guy, but you should be able to discuss stuff in the INTERNATIONAL trade language.
