(Haha, I almost clicked "Report" because I was looking for "Reply."  Quote it is!!!)

Probably not, actually.  I'm a huuuuuuuuuuge fan of digital because I have a tendency to let physical stuff create copious amounts of clutter in my home.

True Dark Souls fans are getting the 12" figure!

I actually have no idea where I'm going to put it.

Heartbroken that people from outside English speaking regions can't entire. I speak flawless English as I've been educated in English for the past six years and am not allowed to enter because I'm from Holland. Sad, really.

While I'm neither part of the community team nor have I consulted with our lawyers, typically these kind of territorial restrictions are in place because of the legalities of running contests (or draws, or judged events, or ...) that offer prizes (or rewards of some kind) in different jurisdictions. For an example of similar boilerplate I grabbed from Tim Hortons' Roll Up The Rim event:

http://www.rollupthe...nline-rules.php

The Contest is limited to all residents of Canada and the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Rhode Island, Arizona, Hawaii, Florida, Alaska and Puerto Rico). Void in excluded states and where prohibited by law.

I want to enter but I cringe whenever I hear my own voice back...Ugh. Curse you, horrific nasally voice.

A lot of people do, I find (my voice bothers me on my lets plays).  Fortunately, you're not the one judging the voice :)

If you are eligible, I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're interested.  Odds of winning are probably super low due to volume, so go into it just go have some fun and it'll go.

But they've never had anyone that remotely sounds Australian or New Zealander - very few games do, which is why it'd be so jarring. I want to enter, but at the same time I hardly think they'd ever use an accent like mine in the actual game. That sort of accent is distinctive enough that I don't really think it fits anywhere in the landscape of accents that we've already heard,

(unless that undiscovered continent on the other side of Thedas is actually New Zealand)

Just make sure you're not convincing yourself of this to avoid doing it!  If he says go for it regardless, then I'd encourage you to do the same!

I wonder if the cutscene creator for the new engine is similar to the old one used for DA origins?  Can anyone who tweets ask that of John Epler on my behalf?

Similar purely in aesthetic (with still a lot of differences).  The editor had to be rebuilt from scratch, and while we can use a lot of ideas and implementation schemes to keep it familiar with people's work flows, it's effectively an all new tool.

That scene looks vaguely similar to this screenshot that Aaryn Flynn posted on Feb 5 - notice the fortress/castle thing on the top right:

I didn't know that this shot was shared publicly.  If anyone was curious what level I was referring to when I tweeted a while back that some of our shots look very pretty, this was actually one of them.

The lichen and mosses are AMAZING.  That was one of the things that made me go O.O at the PAX demo.  I think there is a vid floating around the bioware offices of be rambling on and on about how beautiful the lichen is!

I will vouch for her excitement over such details. :)

Huh, I did a countback and found out we had a total of 16 current BioWare developers post on this thread, with Allan posting the most out of all of them.

This likely says something to my level of cruelty and sadism.

Why is that trunk see-through?

Looks like its a bug that needs fixing.

Which trunk are your referring to?  The lower spot of forest is actually through a stone archway.

The tree trunk right next to the archway. If you look up you can see a tree branch (belonging to another tree) that can be seen through the trunk.

Well, we'd hate to not have nothing for those to scrutinize over it about.

Watching the live video, I think this is actually some of the light rays creating this effect actually, rather than genuine translucency.

So that's a bug right? Because I don't think light rays work that way IRL.

Eh, if it's a bug due to it not being real life, then the whole scene has to get cut/changed.  This is more akin to "the light has lit up whatever is along that ray, and it's causing some reflection of the light, similar to a flashlight in dust.  This causes the brighter, yellow shot in the foreground.

http://www.tumblr.co...t0tfkIeB1qaq1dd

Now it looks strange because my visual cues on the shot give the impression that the angle of the distant tree wouldn't come in front of the nearer tree, but then I have to remember that the sun is not a point light (it's far enough away that engines will treat it as a directional light, with all light beams moving parallel to each other).  I'd have to actually see if the sun still comes in front of the tree from the different angle.

It may be a bug.  Although honestly I wouldn't consider it a particularly high priority one.  If that's The Big Issue™ with Dragon Age: Inquisition, I'd be pretty happy.

It must be really nice for them to see that so much of the reaction to the trailer has been overwhelmingly positive. A lot of people were saying Bioware needs to hit DA:I out of the park (to use a misplaced sportsball analogy) so I'm glad to see they're apparently doing so.

It's motivating/inspiring/host of other things.

I took a random sampling from the two threads (Twitter, and video) to share with the project as a whole and received numerous responses thanking me for doing so.

Tell you what: once you can ask about a character by name we will consider saying who worked on them.
