I didn't hear the Andrastians part, but it was very interesting to hear Qunari vs. Tevinter was in the running against the Ferelden Warden's story for the first game, and if Andrastians were also supposed to be in the mix...*mind blown* =]

Didn't watch the interview, but I'd like a three-way war. But I fear that the idea could be used for a MMO in the future.

I also liked the part at the end of the interview where Mr. Gaider says how much he's looking forward to being able to finally talk about DA3. Can't wait to hear about it!

There's pretty much zero chance of a Dragon Age MMO happening. BioWare already has TOR(which has not met expectations for them or EA) and it would be an even more direct competitor of WoW, DOTA 2 and so on. The fantasy MMO market is already crowded and is still dominated by WoW.

Regarding videos being put up somewhere, it seems to be fairly haphazard. Prior to ME3's release there was Bioware TV, which did have a couple of Dragon Age items, but the PAX panels from last year only seem to be up via Gamespot and YouTube.

(I know the ME panel at this year's PAX East will be up on GameTrailers, but it looks like the DA stuff is all Bioware - so we'd just have to hope they're recorded and put up online somewhere.)

David Silverman was running (I think? maybe advising?) the marketing for ME/DA at one point and he seemed to be pretty important in setting up Bioware TV and the video recordings, but he did move to Battlefield a year ago.

I hope there's a central location for these sorts of videos with a better interface than Bioware TV, it was often really hard to find the latest panels in that.

Yeah, I hope someone will post any important panels on youtube, thats where I always look for my videos.

Well I'm listening to DG interview and yeah he hates the "I love you " 's moment in romances !
That made my day ,those words always makes me want to puke.
I always feel like it's the most embarrasing and cheesy moment when i want to go "yeah right , whatever , i like you too..."

I really dislike it , I still remember Shepard going "I love you , Garrus" and me going BAH stop that!

Well hope David Gaider writes romances in DA3 ...

I don't understand why the words of "I love you" make anyone want to puke. I find them very romantic. Of course they are overused a lot in relationships and I guess that could make people rather jaded when it comes to hearing those words used. However, when used properly, and sparingly, I find "I love you" very touching. It conveys so much in just three simple words.

I do believe though that "I love you" is used too often by young people in relationships that are no more than a week along but, then again, I love you means something different to everyone. For me those words are very serious and should only be used when you truly mean it and only sometimes so that the weight of its importance is not lost.

But, in general, I don't understand the puke feeling that some people feel "I love you" induces.

Yeah, I cringe sometimes when I hear "I love you" but only if it has been overly done. Most of the time I just raise an eyebrow but with a small smile.

A lot of writers who are bad at writing romances decide that Han Solo got it right. The romances in Bioware games for the most part are still cheesy and cliche so Gaider drawing some sort of line on those particular words is pretty pointless.

Well ,I don't know Obsessedwjpn...I'm not saying that people who likes those moments are wrong at all.
But I'm the kind of person when watching a romance movie , when the "I love you " moment comes ..who just change the channel .
Like if I was watching a horror movie and somebody 's about to get eaten.^^

I just don't like it .

Aw, y'all are so cynical. I almost think it's a little more awkward when the scene tries too hard to not say "I love you." Alistair made it work (kudos to Steve Valentine) as he uncomfortably danced around with semantics (Well, uh, I've ..um.. come to, uh, care about you. um..a lot), but usually it's obvious that the "I love you" moment is coming. It's not such a bad thing.

Blair, I hate to ask you to do a Tweetervention twice in a 24 hour period, but they've gone off and are having a conversation about the phrase "I love you" on here in what couldn't be a more off-topic way

Hear us, Blair! Hear us and Tweet from the Great Frozen Tundras of Edmonton!

I'm sensing a Rorschach moment from Blair coming our way...

"Mabari carcass in Inquisition forum this morning, wagon tread on burst stomach. This forum is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The Twitter threads are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and whining will foam up about their waists and all the trolls and romancers will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No." They had a choice, all of them.
