So someone who is away for the weekend who uses this thread to keep themselves updated is forced to wade through a sea of offtopic discussions and brain-dead memes when they get back?

Perhaps you and everyone else who does this should "chill," and let the thread be used for what is was intended for. If you want to discuss anything else, there are 100s of other threads for that.

Seriously what's with the attitude? There is nothing to be updated on during the weekend so feel free to check any pages pertaining to the twitter thread on said weekdays. Saturdays and Sundays are going to have random posts discussing tweets throughout the week. There is nothing to be updated about.

Just because there is nothing to be updated about it doesn't have to mean this thread should become a chat room. This thread was supposed to be informational and it is getting increasingly harder to find information with so much off topic banter. For example for a bunch of pages were asked to stop talking about the Witcher 3 and some kept wanting to have the final word. This thread already got unstuck, in part because of too much banter, the next step could be a lock. If there is a topic of discussion based on a tweet start a thread about it, even on the weekends.

Great! I much prefer the radar-style mini map as well. Skyrim's compass can be very misleading and annoying to use at times.

Telling people to "chill" has never actually calmed a situation.

 

Many people have asked countless times that this thread be used only for the linking of tweets and short discussions of said tweets. Yet every other day this has to be brought up as we deal with 5 pages of people spiraling out a discussion about glossy skin or grammar. It's not what this thread was made for. Some of you may feel that this thread is now some sort of general conversation thread, but it is not. It clearly says The DA:I Twitter thread. Treat it as such until the name changes. These rules do not change because it is a weekend.

If you want to discuss something in depth, start a new thread. If people deem it important enough, they will respond in that thread. It's really not that hard of a concept to grasp.

Online components might be things like trading with other people's keeps (assuming commerce and trading is a big thing), comparing keeps, etc.

 

Never except DA:I to have a big MP component, but those small things are really neat. :3

There's a very clear difference between interesting discussion about new DA-related information, and off-topic chatting.
