• The opening of DA:I (explosion that kills many people, including Chantry leadership) has a big impact on Leliana. The Chantry being in chaos really affects her, hence how ruthless and direct she seems in the demo
• The fact that the Inquisitor is the one source of stability in the world matters more than their race or gender
• Out in the world you’ll find things like beds, thrones and tapestries that you can put in your castle to customize it. Some of these customization options are purely visual

I have to wonder about "Hero of Ferelden" thing.  I've seen it in a few places, but it seems like an odd thing for the Inquisitor to be doing.  Wouldn't they claim whatever banner points are in the name of the Inquisitor or the Inquisition.

This is what I think too, which if we need the Free Marches for allies we'd go that way with Hawke, and maybe there's something also for Orlesians that we can claim in their name.

For Hawke though, I'd say it'd apply for mages/templar missions (depending on what side your hawke chose) instead of the free marches

(I forget who originally posted that quote, but it possible they just misheard something more prosaic like the Inquisitor can capture map points in the name of the Inquisition? Because that is what Mark and Mike seemed to be saying at every demo.)

You can head canon that you are are part Orlesian and support their interests.

I think if you want to be Orlesian you should be allowed to be Orlesian!  Me personally..I'm english and therefore Ferelden at heart...I can't help it, it's in my blood!

As for Orlesian support, I'd wager how you get most of it is by doing missions that strengthens your ties to either Celene or Gaspard.

I'd accept those possibilities (Save with Mages or Templars for Hawke).  I expect our involvement with the Orlesian civil war will be more direct than claiming things in someone's name.

I think that would be an interesting thing to know about her.

And I don't think we'll get to choose another king on that throne in Inquisition.
