No. It is contingent on the assumption that if a game wants to make any noise at all this year, it needs to get out in front of the new consoles. Any other year, I wouldn't have this thought. Hmm, I don't know, it can still make noise. Look at Saints Row IV, they just revealed it  recently and the release date is supposed to be August 23rd, that's only what, 5-6 months away. If DA3 is rumored to be released in fall (which I assume will be around October or November) then they still have time to reveal, that gives them a 7-8 month window, and an 9 month window if they decide on a December release date. But, that's just me speculating, who knows at this point?

So very sad.    We had to put down our kitty the day before Thanksgiving after a long battle against an unknown wasting sickness.  It's never easy.  Digital hugs going your way. <3

But, that's just me speculating, who knows at this point?

Revealing now would be doable. Tight, but doable. Waiting until later, such as E3, would be quite ineffective.

Saint's Row 4 is the expansion pack which was supposed to be released for Saint's Row 3, though. They've been working on it for a while and it's just re-used Saint's Row 3 assets and is mostly an endeavor to prove that Saint's Row can live without THQ. DA3 is on a new engine with new assets, it would prove difficult especially since it's an AAA title from an established company with firm funding.

I don't understand the conspiratorial mindset behind blatantly disbelieving the only release target we've ever been given just because one considers themselves such an expert that the game not being revealed now clearly, *irrefutably* means it must be delayed.

<shrug> I don't see it as a conspiracy. Why would anyone be trying to fool anyone about a game we know next to nothing about?

For my part, I don't believe they will go with the Fall release date anymore. I don't require anyone to believe me. I don't require Bioware to defend themselves. I don't require that anyone accept or get upset by my opinion. But I will state my opinion and why I have it.

I believe someone from Bioware has stated that E3 is too late for a reveal so I assume they'd reveal something in May at the latest. I personally think that they just aren't ready to show us something. I think they are on schedule and not delayed, I think they just don't want to throw the fans some trailer. I wouldn't want to either, fans like to rip trailers a new one if it doesn't meet their standards, especially Bioware fans.

You'll have to provide a link to someone from BioWare saying E3 is too late. I don't recall that.

Well, maybe. But, SR devs say that SR4 was in production before the expansion and that they decided to cut it so they can redo it to fit in the new game.

I just want to pop in here and say that let's all try to get along. Let people believe what they want to about whether DA3 is still on track or delayed. This is a forum and people are allowed to post their opinions and beliefs on here. If it annoys you personally then just don't respond to them. Everyone is going to feel differently about how a game is handled. No one is right or wrong. Bioware is the one calling the shots and they are sticking to whatever schedule they have put in place. I trust that they know what they are doing even if it confounds me beyond belief that we have so little information on this game.

So, positivism and all that happiness jazz! lol

And thank you Allan for replying to my confusion about why a DA3 forum was opened with so little information to post about. I can see how DA3 curiosity overriding the DA2 forums would cause some issues. I just hope we can get some more info about DA3 here soon so that these threads don't continue to run around in circles lol
