As good as news as this is for me the cynical part of me is just saying 'yeah because most of the big games have been moved up to next years.'  But the logical part of me counters 'yeah but you wouldn't have bought most of them anyways...and besides its still competing against Destiny and Assassin's Creed'.  Which the cynical part of my dissapears dramatically.

 

Nah I bet he will be the last, him or Cole. I mean we don't know what has happend to him since DAII or the comics.

My guess its going to go Varric, 'Scribbles', Cole, or Cole, 'Scribbles'.  It seems they are planning to make it a 'big' reveal on who the last two main characters are for one reason or another and Varric is a known quanitiy already so he is going to be closer to the end, would be my guess.

I'm compulsed to min-max my party at all times unless a character has a sizable amount of content tied to a quest, so I don't know who I'm taking along but its gonna end up being only 3 people pretty much permanently through all playthroughs.

Bad thing is I might want a change of pace and I might even like other characters more but the compulsion beats it.

that's cool and congrats to DA team.  (i kinda prefer ppl's choice--but...eh, this is cool, too.

 

And yes, it's been fun, but in the end it's all abt the game. i really hope they deliver. i'm looking fwd to the day when i can send the tweet to aaryn and mike saying, "F!ck Yeah! I just finished my 1st PT and you guys Delivered ballz to the wallz!"

 

I want them to "win". I want them to sell 10 million copies with the quickness. And I won;t lie, it's for purely selfish reasons. It appears at least that this is the kinda game I would love. If they are profitable, I have a higher chance of seeing more games like this from them. I want their work to be rewarded w/success.

 

And I suspect they are taking a chance with all this. Tremendous amount of resources. So, I knock on wood for them....selfish lil bruja that I am.

Not only BioWare but the rest of the industry will hopefully take note.  BioWare is the only company I really know if, in my opinion, who takes their characters seriously and with fidelity.  And actually think about creating deep compelling characters for a deep compelling narrative.  The only other game who has done that for me is Bioshock Infinite.  Granted not that shooters and other games who are more action oriented aren't bad and I play a lot of them and like a lot of them, but if more companies start doing what BioWare does then it can only be a good thing.  If nothing else hopefully it will keep BioWare honest.

i do think tho that the industry in general is beginning to understand and take more srsly the aspects of story and the importance of npc characters. i've been seeing it more and more. imo this is a very good thing.

As for Sera, I see the complaints, and may have a few of them myself, but her personality sounds gorgeous, her voice is adorable, and I am already highly attracted to her...as a character if nothing else.  And her personality just makes her very beautiful to me, from everything I have heard from her she just sounds like a character I could really get along with...like Samantha Traynor...and I think I am rambling.

Personally I think she's ugly as hell. Doesn't mean her character is worthless though. Doesn't mean anything in regard to her character really. Just an aesthetic opinion.

Is there a chance that you might release a Character Creator before the release of the game? It'd be fun to see what we can do!

Why wouldn't they have CC demo?! This is so upsetting! We want to be able to make our Inquisitors in advance and it was such a popular thing for PC players with Origins! Can we at least get a 10+ minute CC Demo soon? So we can give feedback?!
