I'm one of those people that sits through credits, it just kind of shakes you out of your reverie and kills the atmopshere doesn't it?  I hope they don't do it again, not for DA .

 

Edit:  It felt like someone had poured freezing cold water over me...

me too. I was almost cryng, even if my ending was happy, but...the game was long, and it felt like one of those long, long journey...I was so...happy, my character had made it! she was a hero, she had her man, survived, and overcome her own hate to humans, she was seen as a Gray Warden, a hero, and not just an elven prostitute...

it was...glorious...

...ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?!?! I find even enjoable the song, but...it was like an abrupt wake up call. the kind my mom used to give me when I was a kid and I didn't wake up to go to school! (and it was take away all my blankets and open the window while it was snowing outside!!!traumatic!)

I actually liked 30 Seconds To Mars in the credits, even though I kinda loathe the band's music otherwise. I'll probably always associate that song with the whirlwind of emotions that Origins' ending brought out in me that first playthrough, and remember how I sat there staring at the screen trying to digest everything. A great memory.

OT: Why is that people always link Croissants to the French? Croissants were invented in Austria during the Ottoman battle/siege of Vienna which  also explains the half-moon shape.

Now the reason I am asking for something like this is because the uncovered area we see in the demo is somewhat corridor like.

From the dwarfisitor demo they keep taking down, unfortunately:

In the upper-left corner you can see a symbol of camp or whatever that is like the ones in the uncovered area. I'm not sure about the shape of the location, but it's most likely not linear. It's just the route they took in the demo, and they passed by a lot of stuff, taking one path out of several. And they barely showed the ability to jump and didn't show climbing at all, but Darrah kept mentioning them and promised that "anywhere you see you can travel to." So... yeah.
