Ha! That's funny. ![]()
And it makes you wonder who he's talking to. It makes me think that maybe he's talking to the Inquisitor and someone that he/she has sexual tension with. Or Varric and Cassandra in some crazy party banter.

I wasn't expecting The Iron Bull to be Freddie Prinze Jr. At all.
So far, we have Traynor and Vega. I guess the Inquisition is getting the Normandy crew back together...
Technically Traynor was in DA first.
BioWare has a pool of voice actors that they re-use a lot. Looks like Freddie is now part of that group now too.

Hmm, I wonder if he's voicing Cole?
(I bet he could also do a good Sandal if they couldn't get the VA back for w/e reason.)

Brandon Keener, you say? Didn't you know he's voicing Solas?
I'm just kidding. I have no idea who's voicing Solas, but that would be pretty cool.
If Brandon Keener was voicing Solas, I guarantee that there would be far less "ew, no, you can have him!" back-and-forth regarding his sexual orientation in the romance threads.

Also, if Brandon Keener were to voice one of the remaining companions, I would be rather gleeful. He did a great job as Garrus.
He did a commercial for a phone, I think, where he was sitting on a blind date and the date was checking out everything he said on her phone. When she confronted him with it, he made this Garrus-like groan/moan. I could never watch that commercial without busting a gut. ![]()

At first I was like: Oh crap, I don't want that voice again, not VEGA.
But after watching the video, with his badass voice, I'm very excited!

At first I was like wtf.
Because, so many Tiger Beat memories, ya'll.

And then I got over it because he sounds awesome. Maybe Buffy can voice someone too.

Well, with the range of voice this guy shows they'll be like, doing themselves a favor.

My husband just watched the video (because I made him), and he says his first impression was that he sounded like Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.
"That is a lovely lovely voice..."

Mark voiced a TON of random characters throughout the Dragon Age series.
He's all the grunts and growls of Darkspawn in DAO, and he's all of the talking Disciples (like The First and The Messenger). He's one of the voices for the Warden ("Experienced Elf Male", I think). The blacksmith at Soldier's Peak. Tug from Leliana's Song. A whole variety of random NPCs scattered all over. As an added bonus, he was the "surprise" option in the Pearl (who he says was his favorite character to voice in DAO).
In DA2, he did Jethan and Hybris, as well as another variety of random small NPCs.
In other words, he tends to voice A LOT of small characters. I expect the same thing again. He's got a crazy awesome range; Might as well take advantage of it.

Meer being a local guy is a big plus for them as well I would imagine. They could probably get him on short notice he is married to Belinda Cornish who does a fair number of BioWare voices as well.

I always felt Commander Shepard was Meer's worst voice, at the very least in the first games he sounds extremely bland to me.
Luckily I also felt like he got better as the series progressed, in the Citadel DLC I actually think he does Shepard better than Hale.

It was intentional really... a soldier isn't going to have an emotive voice. I honestly think Hale was a little too emotional for a soldier.
Meer is steady and consistent and only got better with the series.

My feedback, on reviewing this was: “Love it! We need to show his face.” http://blog.bioware.com/2014/06/20/under-the-horns/ … #IronBull
@Mike_Laidlaw I think the fans were beginning to think we were avoiding showing his face for Plot Reasons.
