Has anyone asked if this game allows for farming? In the sense of going through areas and killing re-spawned enemies over and over until you level up past a certain areas difficulty?

If you kill everything, they won't come back because you've changed the ecosystem.

You can deplete resources, not sure how much enemies will respawn, or if they will at all. However they have mentioned an example that said that if you kill a bandit group in an area, a different group/enemy(?) will settle in its place, or something like that.

Really it's a shame they're encouraging people to assume bandits and enemy groups can just repopulate that easy. If we don't start conserving our worlds enemy npc population, by 2020 we'll only have 1/24th of our current numbers. By 2035, they could be extinct.

I joined Bioware just after NWN shipped. I was/am a huge fan of the BG games. Being asked to work on DA was a privilege.
Did ya go all fangirl on your first day?
No, my first day the HVAC was broken, office overheated and I built my own desk: 30 degrees inside, -27 degrees outside.
Ouch!

There needs to be a save the bandits group, how else are you going to get those shiny loots? Those moth eaten scarfs? Those 10 bits??

My main concern is getting to the desired level I want. I like grinding - I feel I'm getting stronger - and I hope this game allows for that. I also like exploring so I hope nothing his really time sensitive. I want to fight lots of enemies and explore lots of areas without feeling pressure.
Like in ME3, before the game was released I thought I'd only be able to do several missions before the next major plot advancement. As I started playing I realized I'd still be able to do all the side quests and the reaper forces don't advance until you complete the major priority missions. I hope DAI will be like that. No major advancements until you've reached an objective and less about countdown (like claiming the village vs going after the keep in the leaked DAI demo a few months back). While they can be fun, I like taking my time.
(This is why I'm probably not going to like FF13 LR...besides the obvious plot issues carried over from FF13-2 and the already poor plot I've heard is in FF13 LR).

I wonder if we are going to get Sera's, Blackwall's, and Vivienne's VA's interview videos soon?
Don't forget Cassandra. Really like what Miranda Raison has done for her voice.

I don't think it's the case that you'd be catapulted forward automatically upon reaching enough "Inquisition power points", or whatever system they're using. Though surely they'd have to limit you becoming too powerful or making the Inquisition too influential right at the start of the story.
As for respawning enemies, I don't think it's been said that they'll be gone *forever* in one region if you wipe them out from that region. The version I heard was that it would take time, and in some cases other creatures or factions would come in first.

The clock is more a psychological thing than a real danger. Failing is not so bad anyway since you carry over stuff into the new game. Once you know what you are doing you can finish the game in 2-3 days and wonder why they never included a skip to day 13 option.
The plot is strange, but makes it's own sort of sense once you finish the game.

What is wrong with you? This is the Twitter thread, man! As long as the devs post tweets pertaining to the game (and sometimes not even about the game), it will not die!

Maybe he doesn't like off-topic posts. But they aren't problematic for me. Keeping only tweets wouldn't make this thread interesting.

From what I've seen in that unfortunate dwarfisitor video, Inquisitor can also get on the wrong side of both templars and mages, as he fights them both in that demo. (Although it could be too early into the game for them to reconcile or maybe those were the splinter groups, idk.) Kinda like neutrality, too, and I seem to remember many people wanted an option like that with templars and mages in Kirkwall. "A plague on both your houses, I'm leaving." ))And maybe you Can also decide that you want both factions working for/with you.......?
Even then it's an area you're already familiar with. You come to Crestwood, claim/build yourself a keep, explore and leave. Then you apparently activate some sort of trigger advancing the story, your forces there report an attack on the village and you come back to investigate. No major advancements until you've reached an objective and less about countdown (like claiming the village vs going after the keep in the leaked DAI demo a few months back).

Will there be coffee in Dragon Age: Inquisition?
@Mike_Laidlaw @BioMarkDarrah @user there's coffee under every texture, in the joints of every animation, in the space between the words
