She's technically Orlesian, but identifies as a Ferelden. It's the opposite with Leliana.

I don't count her as Orlesian, she see's herself as Ferelden, that's where her loyalties lie and that's the important thing I think.
Yeah the concept of passports doesn't really exist in Thedas so you can change your nationality if you wish. Aveline definitely identifies as a Ferelden.

Cool! I don't particularly like his character but he is super fascinating. I wonder how he's going to interact with the party(after all, banter is a huge part of the game, as well as other npc interactions), and why he even bothers joining the Inquisition.
Definitely a lot of mystery to his character that I'd love to find out more about but even these basic questions would be great to learn more about.

Hm, I wasn't terribly fascinated by Cole in Asunder, but I'll say he looks appropriately waifish.
