I'm getting the feeling that hair is not Frostbite 3's strong point, unfortunately. Or maybe Cole's just looks weirder because it's blond and we can see it better?

 

It's a shame, because the weird hair in Mass Effect was also a bit of a letdown. I just hope there'll be some good options for the Inquisitor, of both genders.

I like this dead Cole but i have one question.

Is he a companion? Yes he is comfirmed but i don´t anything thay says that he is a companion. I know that very likely but i would like to have an official answer.

Varric's hair in his newest screenshot looked pretty good. 

 

Cole's hair looks like someone glued a mop on his head though. It looks completely flat, no specular highlights or anything.

I note how no one is bitching about his hair despite being 3000% more terrible than Sera's.

 

No one's hair does that unless he's glued it to his eyebrows. Or he's felted it into a cap and left the ends free.

Well they showed us all the Inquisition members in that trailer and they have already revealed who the advisers are in various interviews (not that they needed to) so he has to be a companion.

I think Frostbite does hair well, just look at other characters. Sera is blond as well, and she looks rather normal. My guess is it is just Cole being weird Fade-thing stuck in the world, and he just took form of a dying mage, and stayed exactly the same, not affected by majority of physical laws of material world

Oh wow, he looks a lot better than I imagined, they did a great job.  Was ambivalent about him while reading Asunder--this makes me wanna reread it again with though.  Cool surprise
