There were actually people still wondering if Cole could be an Li a few weeks ago. But now :

 

 

I think that any human with eyes will stop wondering if he could be an Li, a flirt or whatnot, even without knowing the post of David Gaider.

He's a spirit of some sort, not totally sure. He's not human though. The "child-like" reference is from a quote from David Gaider. Considering the fact that spirits are very simple, single-minded entities, I can see the comparison. But he is not a human, or a child.

The real Cole was a young teen with a bit of magical talent .He wasn't made tranquil , the templars put him in a cell somewhere  , forgot about him.It seems the kid was dying or dead , when a spirit  noticed him.

Something happened , and  well we have the new Cole.

I don't see how he looks particularly unattractive. He is pale enough to hang out with Dracula, and his eyes look like he could use a good night's sleep, but there's nothing repelling about him that I can see.

But you know, it really doesn't matter. He's not supposed to be a male model.

yes.  He looks a lot like Evan Peters from AHS.  I'm guessing he will be one of the non-romanceable companions.

Cole is a character from Asunder.  He isn't tranquil, he's... nobody's entirely sure what, but he seems to be a spirit that thought it was human or a spirit that sort of became the ghost of a human or... something.

Judging from you profile picture, i take it that you are okey with children with psychopathic tendencies , but in all fairness you aren´t alone it seems like, i don´t get this "vibe" but then again i´m not a mother or father so...he just creeps me out

 

I wouldn't say I am ok with it, but I understand! lol Cole to me is very similar to Simi (who is a demon) a character from the Dark hunter novels by  Sherrilyn Kenyon, who has the mind of a child but the body of an adult! They make you want to protect them and keep them safe! At least I do anyway!

Ignoring the sickly, undead look he's not unattractive to mine eyes. But I'll take having Cole as a companion (who I find fascinating) over a random attractive Joe Blow any day. I don't really use rogues for melee (I know he can be either, but to me he uses daggers, as in Asunder), but I might have to make an exception for Cole depending on how the combat fits with my playstyle in Inquisition. He looks great, too! Very mysterious. Though even I will admit his hair looks out of place in that second pic.
