Eyeliner has practical purposes. In Ancient Egypt for example they used it and other make up similar to how Football players put the black lines on their cheeks: to keep the sun out of their eyes.

I don't know. That's what I'm asking. A man wearing eyeliner is not a common thing. You don't normally see that. I don't think men look good with eyeliner. So why would they make him wear eyeliner? That's if it even is eyeliner.

I've been pretty indifferent towards Dorian, but his little snippet of a description paints him as a genuinely good guy.  It is starting to seem like all the male characters are pretty easy going do-gooders, while all the females are either kind of bratty (Sera) or hardasses (Vivienne, Cassandra).  Little disappointed in that.

I notice on the character page for dragonage.com that Cassandra and Varric's last names are listed, but Dorian's last name is not. Is his last name still Pavus? Maybe I'll just ask over Twitter.
