Well, then expect to be disappointed when they'll show Solas .

I've been pretty indifferent towards Dorian, but his little snippet of a description paints him as a genuinely good guy.  It is starting to seem like all the male characters are pretty easy going do-gooders, while all the females are either kind of bratty (Sera) or hardasses (Vivienne, Cassandra).  Little disappointed in that.

Kind of the opposite of last game, where are all the female characters got along pretty well with everyone (or kept their arguments relatively civil) while all the male characters besides Varric were just about jumping down each other's throats. That said, I'm liking the female characters so far, hardass and bratty can make for some pretty fun characters.

Well, if all were easy-going it wouldn't be very varied, would it?

 

No.  We do need variety, I still find all the characters interesting in their own ways.  I also don't think being a hardass is bad on principle, I just wish it wasn't so divided down gender lines.  Especially when it comes to pure companion characters there are twice as many male as female.

I would like to see a proper screenshot of Solas's face. Everytime I've seen him, he seems to have these tiny squinty eyes, and it just looks abnormal with the size of his eyebrows and head. At least Nicholas Cage has big blue eyes to fill out the space beneath his large eyebrows and forehead.

He sounds like someone my Wardens would have gotten along famously with.

Hopefully he will also get along with my Inquisitor.

 

Can we snark (be cocky) back to him though and does he handle it well?

Just want to point out, technically Solas has been revealed, we do know his name after all. 

 

Also it seems like this group is cockier then the last couple groups

So far only Cassandra and Varric got somewhat decent looking hair. The rest is pretty bad. ( I'm talking about the graphics) 

 

The game is couple months away from shipping so I guess that graphics wise there won't much of an improvement (at least no significant change). Therefore I must say that it is very disapointing. 

Everywhere I read about DAI wether it would be facebook or the forums  opinion that hair looks bad frequently appears, you'd think that with this engine they could do better.

Or a Circle of Magi Isolationist who goes by "Solas" because he's proud to be an elf and a mage... (Seriously we know nothing about the guy and even though I floated the "Solas is an ancient elf" theory myself, chances are good it isn't true.)

Now all we need is the reveal of Solas, which I'm guessing will be next Monday (not expecting too much, though, but I expect they'll reveal him some time next week at the least). After that, maybe they will give us some more info on the advisors if we're lucky (and finally reveal Scribbles real name?!). Perhaps at a later stage they may even reveal some other characters (Dagna, Gaspard, Celene etc), but that's just wishful thinking on my part.
