So Vivienne really might be a Knight Enchanter. I can't really picture her rolling up her sleeves and having a tussle with an abomination, but the fact that it seems so out of character actually makes the idea more appealing.

Why do people keep insisting on giving player-specializations to the party-members? 

Why can't they just do their own things, or have I missed a mention that all our specializations will also be given to our companions?

I have a pair that looks just like that in black, and they are super comfy.  Kudos to Bioware for practical footware.  Could you imagine tromping through the wilderness in the latest Orlesian fashion?

I admit I am sad that the unique Spec thing from DA2 won't be returning. It was one of my favourite parts of that game and one of the few that was hands-down really good.
