Don't feel bad. Everybody has those characters who they are looking forward too. I personally like all of the characters so far. Solas is just last and it's not fun when people's most anticipated characters is put last. With all the companions so far revealed being interesting I am equally as excited to learn about him. My excitement is not exclusive. I am just glad they are revealing character info earlier than I thought.
Hope the advisors get the same treatment as companions though

No degree needed, though it helps a LOT for any immigration. Best portfolio advice comes from @Masah_K .
