Well, now the only character of the 12 we don't know about is Scribbles.

 

Because, obviously, it was the companions. Now since they released the last companion, it's time for the advisors (hopefully).

And I do hope Scribbles is the first to be shown, we already know Cullen and Leliana.

Solas

 

Solas has spent his life as an apostate, living in the wilderness well away from the civilized world and those who would shackle him for what he is. Solas went from visually reminding me of Nick Cage to visually reminding me of Arnold Vosloo. Either way, I love it.

Yay, Solas!

I'm rather neutral towards him, but he looks interesting nonetheless, and having a fade expert on the team will come in handy.

Now we just have to wait and hope they'll release info on the advisors. It might not come right away, but the fact that the character profiles on the website aren't limited to just companions (Morrigan) has me hopeful.

Did they change his face? If so, I liked the other one better. It was awkward and I made fun of him for it, but it suited him quite well.

Oh my, I thought I would have to wait another few hours or even days, but here he is, finally. What can I say - it will be as I thought - he and my Inquisitor we'll be most likely friends. Now I want to know if he can be romanced.   And I want to buy him some proper clothes.

Another thing: It's now settled - Vivienne will stay home most of the time, since my canon Inquisitor (also a mage) certainly won't like her much.

Well, so is Cass and Varric but Sera/IB/Blackwall/Viv were the first ones with profile release. It would make more sense for Scribbles to make her appearance first. (pls pls, the waiting is painful)

They're holding their hands to their foreheads in grief or shame. They're statues of Maferath.

Either way, he's definitely an interesting character. I've said it a couple of times before, but DAI is the first BioWare game about which I can say "All of these companions interest me, and I can't wait to spend time with them in-game".

Why are those statues facepalming?

I believe that is Maferath.  There's an image of him in World of Thedas that looks very similar.  I believe, as thats1evildude said, he is grieving for his betrayal of Andraste.
