Mh, Enlighten is a technology integrated in Frostbite 2 if I understand correctly. And since DAI has been confirmed to make use of Enlighten... I dunno, it's more likely DAI is going to be on Frostbite 2, seeing that it's been in development for years, and FB3 is pretty recent.

At least that's the marketing bullet point DICE and EA are using to market Battlefield 4. It looks an awful lot like Frostbite 2 powered BF3, with some nicer lighting and effects, quite honestly.

Yeah, the next Battlefield installment uses FB3. Inquisition uses FB2. But FB2 is practically brand new. EA just seems to think a new engine will make Battlefield outsell the next CoD.

Frankly, the lightning was amazing, but all that blueish grey? They really need to change the style, because it makes BF4 look so bland.
Well, they did say DAI will be using another color palette with less brown. Let's hope it won't be more grey.

Yeah. As I mention in the other thread, Frostbite 3 is just an evolution of Frostbite 2 (most engines are done this way, especially today with modular designs and whatnot). So "moving to Frostbite 3" doesn't change our workflow in the slightest, since we've always been taking code drops from the Frostbite team.
Our code is rarely more than a couple months behind the Frostbite team's. We push stuff back to Frostbite ourselves too.

that one tweet basically tells you its for next gen an if your comp doesnt run DX11 you cant play DAI either, unless im really really wrong which is 90% possible rofl

Maybe FB3 is the reason that there isnt much news on dragon age 3 i guess EA wanted to reveal FB3 in BF4 then afterwards in dragon age 3 so who knows maybe well get someinfo on dragon age 3 soon

I didn't read it that way. BF4 is going to be on current gen, other than next gen. Why wouldn't DAI? DX11, on the other hand, is a whole 'nother matter. Time to upgrade!

Im probably reading to much into Frostbite 3 only supporting DX11 if indeed thats true to begin with, which tbh i dont find any reason not to believe
