don't know why most of people are under the impression that 40 years old means that you should look decrepit. yes there are people that don't age well, i've seen 20 year olds with fully gray hair and wrinkled but i've also seen a lot of 40 year olds without a single gray hair and no wrinkles whatsoever.

And now I'm picturing Cullen with an apron while Cassandra and Leliana are reading the newspapers...telling the Inquisitor s/he is past his/her bedtime...
And he's not wearing anything else, except an apron.... *drool*

And Solas doesn't have any hair to grey anyway! ![]()

Oh exciting, we might get an older LI after all, even if we don't get Blackwall. I figured Solas had to be in that age ranger, his appearance had varied quite a bit from concept art to game, but ever look was believable for someone who was 40-50 years old.

is there going to be an interview with the Lelianas writer? Did the advisors get the same sort of writing budget as companions?
I think so? And yes.
That second bit will make a lot of people relieved.

Yay! Advisers will have equal dialogue and stuff to companions! ![]()

It surprises me actually. I was prepared for the companion dialogue to outstrip advisors significantly. This is pleasing... unless it means companion dialogue is actually quite anemic ![]()

I hope there's random banter while walking around the castle with advisors since they don't seem to go with us that much. If they only really go with us for their personal quests (rumor that was mentioned before), then there's no way I can see all the banter with each member of the Inquisition

Pretty much. They are companions who were volunteered for permanent bench duty(though will go out on missions occasionally apparently) so instead of just twiddling their thumbs they decided to be useful. ![]()

Yeah. Suddenly I am a lot more interested in who these Advisors are. I was expecting them to be like Kelly from ME2 before.

With how popular the Normandy banter was in Mass Effect 3, I wouldn't be surprised if Dragon Age Inquisition did something similar at the various bases.

Mmn, there are few things that feel better than closing a bug. Maybe a soda on a hot day. Or the smell of new electronics. Ok a few things.

Still not convinced advisors won't be lesser than companions in reality, if they are absent from large stretches of the game due to immobility.

They probably will be in the long run, but I don't think the gap will be as huge as I once suspected.

I'm retired and being almost 50, I've seen people half my age look older than myself. The little bit of gray I have is from my goatee.

Advisors also get quests of their own - Mike tweeted last month about a multi-region mission that had heaps of Cullen content.
(And they move around - we've seen Leliana at a party camp, and she was clearly with the party when they confronted Alexius at Redcliffe.)

Followers don't talk that much during quests in DA. PC do most of the talking there, companions talk mostly at camp/home. Plus advisors have some sort of personal missions, so...Still not convinced advisors won't be lesser than companions in reality, if they are absent from large stretches of the game due to immobility.

That might actually be something similar to the Leliana's stuff in the E3 demo where they said you could send someone else than her to investigate whatever there was to investigate.

Just a reminder that Lindsay Lohan was in her 20s when this photo was taken
And lets look at Raquel Whelch. She is 74 years old.

Age is relative.

I do wonder who advisers will work in terms of gameplay. For example, if I wanted to send spies somewhere, do I click on Lelliana and initiate a dialogues to say send spies to X. Or does a GUI pop up with a map of Thedas for me to place my spies on.
