And with this, I think it proves that the people who will be with you from the beginning is at least Cassandra and the advisers since 2 of the 3 are confirmed to already be joined. Possibly Varric too since we need a rogue and he was last seen with Cassandra and Leliana.

Well apparently it is already formed. One of the devs I believe said that the troops seen with Cassandra and Leliana at the end of DA2 are Inquisition troops.

The "gays" (as you so eloquently put it,) don't know if Cullen is available or not as a LI.  The lesbians have Sera, and I hope they get Cass.  I'm sorry if you feel you have to "make do" with the hottest female warrior in Thedas and one of the most elegant mages in the world.  You know, if Sera really trips your trigger, you could try rolling as a female character.  You might even like it!

 

Oh, if you think that DA:I "ruined" Cassandra's look, check out her original concept art.  If anything, the new engine makes her look much closer to her concept art.
