So, we'd better start our "Maevaris for companion in the next dragon age game" campaign right now just to be safe then :)

I assure you that, unless it's something I'm already inclined to do, such campaigns would make a character less likely to return and not more.

I'm sure you really appreciate the fans that love a character you created enough to actively wish to see more of them, though. Right?

Sure. It's simply not going to sway me one way or the other, even if someone thought their advocacy "worked" (because the character eventually returned...or didn't return, I suppose). If a character returns, it's because the story worked better with them involved, and no other reason. The last time I brought forward a character solely because someone told me to was Oghren in Awakening. Not going to happen again.

Lol, that's so awesome. Hmmm, wonder who the other character is....

I have a hunch...

CAN YOU IMAGINE

What would Allan's companion gift be? A basketball? I seem to remember he likes some kind of sportsball.

A basketball would definitely work.  Though I make no confirmations (or denials) about my presence as a DAI companion.  <.<

I would likely be the tragic romance option.  Because we need more tears!

(Though I suppose we shouldn't derail toooOooOOOoo much more)

I feel at this point that your official job title is something along the lines of "Scandalizer of Forums" rather than "Technical Quality Assurance Analyst"

I prefer King of Sass

MESSAGE POPULAIRE !

Unlike Allan, I am not willing to poke this particular bear needlessly. He does indeed play Alistair. Insofar as what role Alistair plays in the game, however, that you will have to wait and see.

(Other than him being a party member, which he most definitely is not.)

You have no honor!

Of course.  As a Canadian, I naturally have honour ;)

Certainly wasn't done with any ill intent. Just thought it was funny!

I have zero negative connotations in regards to Nicholas Cage, so...

I wouldn't worry too much about it.  We're humans too and will have odd pet peeves and the likes ourselves as well, just as the fans here will have themselves.

I'm sorry, David. Laugh, please? It's a funny... just wanted to make a funny. :(

Don't worry about it. There are worse things than kinda-sorta looking like Nicolas Cage. Tone doesn't come across well in text, but I'm mostly amused at how much people can obsess over a single screenshot.

I feel sorry for them, crunch sounds brutal. :(

Ehhhhhh, I'm typically of the mind that if people are able to joke about something (and share publicly) that there's still an element of fun to it.  Of course they are free to correct me if they want haha.

I imagine it feels a bit different for each of us, but I don't find it too bad. Granted, I'm single with no dependencies at home, so I could work all I want and I'd only be affecting me. Long crunch stints can definitely end up tiring (32 days straight for me during finaling ME3, muhaha), but they're also satisfying in a way. Knowing you're working on a thing you love for other people to love, and are trying to make it the best thing it can be.

Same for me (from personal life to fatigue and so forth).

I'm also making an assumption based on personal bias, in that when I am actually stressed and frustrated, I likely won't bother discussing it on Social media for fans to see.

It's planned for a fall release. No one knows the month, or whether it might be pushed to winter.

It's Edmonton.  Every month here is winter.

The more the jar of bees gets mentioned, the more terrified I get. :/ I'm allergic to bee stings. Why would anyone do this? O, THE HUMANITY. Alchemical epi pen as a pre-order bonus? Yes? Please? ;)

We felt as though arachnophobes needed some company ;)

I'll admit, despite my "not too bad" posts, I am pretty tired this evening :P

Weekend will likely involve birthday stuff with parents, and loads of video games and vegging.

Sounds like it's been a really intense week for everyone. Maybe it's our turn to feed off of their tears.   :D

Also, you feed off our tears when you play the game ;)

I removed the reference to Chris' post since he's not with BioWare anymore, and it's actually equivalent to some *random* poster making an observation while also summary judgment about what the online community's reaction is.

If you have any questions please PM me about it.

They seem to love their lego over there!

Part of me is glad I moved from Edmonton; I lived next door to the mall with the Lego store near the studio, and I would be in a constant state of no money. The other part of me is not glad, because I would've been in a constant state of more Lego.
