The Solas thread thought much the same thing about Solas, at one point.  That turned out to be wrong.  Even if there's something horribly spoilerish about her, they can still avoid revealing it in her reveal info.

Nah, that interview made me even more sure Solas isn't what he appears to be. It made me 100x more interested in him.

Advisers were always going to be after companions, and the other two advisors have massive, vocal fanbases already.

 

I know the timing of the reveals has been rather inconsistent, but I doubt there's a big secretive reason why she happens to be the last one.

You say that now, but now there will be a food, fashion, and facial hair adviser, all of which will be revealed before Scribbles. Surely we can't run this Inquisition on espionage, military and commerce alone.

And with this, I think it proves that the people who will be with you from the beginning is at least Cassandra and the advisers since 2 of the 3 are confirmed to already be joined. Possibly Varric too since we need a rogue and he was last seen with Cassandra and Leliana. 

It will probably Cass, Varric and Varric at the very beginning of the game and then Cullen will come in.

That's not fair! The ladies and gays have Cullen (and what's his name - Mr. moustache) to swoon over, what about us straight guys (and lesbians)? We have to make do with the likes of Cassandra and Vivienne... 

Cullen hasn't been confirmed on sexuality and it's actually more likely he's straight.

Does anyone have a list of what kinds of cupcakes were given for what kinds of things? It was such an awesome thing to do. Everything is sunshine and kindness and nothing hurts.
