Unless the Inquisitor looks like Traynor and carries a toothbrush, I can accept it easily enough. And since the VA looks nothing at all like I imagined, remaining in character should not be an ordeal. Plus, she sounds like the Snarky/ Saucy Inquisitor options will be well worth the time to hear.

I actually work for a company that does licensing for a few major companies, and there's a HUGE difference between selling artwork, and selling commission. 
 
Both are illegal, but one is more likely to get prosecuted.
 
If someone pays you $20 to draw a picture of unique picture of Morrigan just for them, no one will care.
 
But if you draw a picture of Morrigan, and start selling prints at $20 a pop, they will come down on you like a ton of bricks.
 
It also depends on the company. Some IP holders will crack down on a single $5 sketch, others will ignore you unless you starting making thousands. But GENERALLY speaking, as long as the art is unique and commissioned (even when based on an IP), you're unlikely to get in any trouble.
 
That's how most Etsy sellers get away with it, by the way. They do extremely small volume of extremely cheap products that are not likely to be mistaken for "official", with largely one-of-a-kind pieces.

I would also like to add that often it would cost the company more in legal fees and time, than it's worth. I mean if an artists makes maybe $50 on single commission, it makes little sense to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees over a measly$50. Now for Australia as long as an image is 30% different from another it is considered original. Also, not every country adheres to intellectual copyrights, and such. It's why when countries like china copy technology, companies can hardly do a thing about it.

Road work and construction is the gateway to boredom, which leads men and women to seek the comfort of the grey world of the artist.  It 'tis a beautiful and treacherous existence indeed.

 

I live in Colorado, and we have two seasons as well: snow and construction.

Never would have placed her has the  grand master of the jedi order.. That diffently is good range since the republic trooper and the master sound nothing alike.

 

Well, Hale did voice Bastilla with the same exact voice as she voiced Satele as. While ancestors having similar features is slightly understandable it gets kind of weird when they sound EXACTLY the same...

 

Then of course there's the weird scenes where the F!Trooper is talking to Satele...I was surprised the space time continuum didn't break...

The female inquisitor sounded nothing like Hale.


Sadly I couldn't hear her at all in the demo with people talking over it, but that is encouraging!

Also, several crass remarks about her doing VA work in a game that has same gender romances.   <_<

 

Note to self: Now that I can afford it, maybe it's time to help get another batch of cupcakes to her somehow.  Everything is better with a cupcake!

I was just reading them two, there are a few really gross sexual ones and an angry MRA one. A bunch of people in the comments don't seem to understand that this is a joke, so yeah it could be those comments.
