The confusing bit is that Goldana swore up and down that Alistair was the son of her mother and the king, to the point where they bribed her and sent her away. Its rather confusing as to how she could have found out Alistair was Maric's son at all, much less come to that conclusion.

Ugh, I can't keep up with all the pages, so I missed some info, but what stuck out to me is Alistair is Fiona's son?
Okay, I always thought the "third Theirin son" theory was the better one. As it leaves the books with a character they can make a series of that doesn't counter anyone's canon, it allows there being a Theirin still around with great dragon blood if Alistair is killed in DA:O and didn't do the DR, and it wouldn't mess with the dialogue in game and character motivation in the book.
Still, fine, Fiona is Alistair's mom, won't stop my Inquisitor removing that warmonger from power and throwing her into Aeonar.
Another question pertaining to equipment. Will armor look differently depending on our race or will it be "one size fits all" like in DA: O? Or will we be able to make a certain kind of armor that has its own style depending on the materials we use like in Skyrim? Like if we want wear Dalish armor we need Ironwood or if we want Dwarven armor we'll need a certain amont and kind of steel?
