Na , I think romances will have more content , even if it's a more sexy time romance than flowers and kisses.
But I suppose Npc romance will be people still part of the Inquisition and living in Skyhold.(Dagna?)

So, will companions have quest specific comments? Take the Redcliffe Castle quest for example: if you take Vivienne and Solas instead of Bull & Sera-> will they comment on the situation more because it involves magic (and neither Sera or Bull are mages)

Last piece of news for today. There's 8 romances, only 2 of those have any racial preferences (for story reasons) #DAI #ImExhausted

 

 

I'm taking this as good news. I was a little worried that the race-gated romance thing would backfire against the narrative or building of companion relationships. Is this why only two of the eight romances have racial preferences or was a different reason behind the decision?

Since both are for story reasons, they probably started with no race-gating and then said, "This doesn't really make sense for this character."

 

If I had to bet, I'd say Varric/Qunari is one.
