Yes, they have unique specialization based on their history. It doesn't replace a base tree like in DA2.

I'll be going through and making sure I didn't miss any, and categorizing them all (link again for those who missed it in the flood). Just in case anyone is interested, there were around 450 questions answered.

450? Wow that's not even a tenth of what was asked (though I'm sure there was a lot of repetition. I consider myself pretty lucky that so many of my questions were answered (I think it was around 3 or 4 if I recall correctly).

1) Will the Inquisitor have or be able to have abilities similar to Fenris i.e. phasing through solid objects?

2) In terms of DA Keep and the (possible) return of Hawke and the Warden as well as having our decisions reflected will there also be a character creator so we can recreate what they looked like?

The logical part of me understands why they chose not to answer that question, as answering it would be a rather big plot spoiler..... but the fan part of me is pissed for not getting an answer as that was one of (if not the only) question relating to whether or not Hawke is going to make an appearance in the game.

 

And given the utter garbage "cliffhanger" nature of DA2's ending, I'm going to be majorly uber-pissed if Hawke doesn't make some form of appearance in DAI given his/her huge involvement and position in the mage-templar conflict, the unearthing of red lyrium, the unsealing of Corypheus, etc....

It's worth noting that follower armors, etc, will change color as you equip new gear. As to dye, however, that's still being looked at.

Also, her sexuality isn't the first thing we've learned about her. We know that she's an advisor and tied to the economic/political side of things. And probably other stuff.

 

I think the person who said that isn't necessarily wrong, just a bit uninformed. It's true that WOC are often fetishized, but I'm guessing they didn't realize the other stuff had been revealed, and so they jumped to a conclusion that, in many cases, has probably been true.

Dear Maker and Creators, I finally caught up.  

 

Feeling overwhelmed...

 

Good to see Josie finally has a name!  And I like what I'm hearing...

 

Alistair confirmed as elf-blooded out of nowhere!  Nice to finally know for sure, but it makes me even more nervous about what's going to happen to Fiona...

 

Zevran not appearing is kinda crushingly sad...   All the other DA:O LIs making a big appearance got my hopes up.      (Zevmancers really have no luck it seems, and if you have a gay Warden like I do, it isn't like there was any other option.)

 

ZevQuisitor takes a little of the edge off. 

 

Some disappointment that Cass isn't bi...

 

And still no news on whether Solas is a romance or bi...  And thusly us over at the Solas thread continue to flail.

Wow, a great deal of information today. Love the reveal for Josephine. Maybe I'm wrong (and given how quick this thread goes it might have already been brought up) but aren't some of the Inquisitor voices (Jon Curry especially rings a bell) VAs who voiced some of the different Warden voices? I'm not saying that leans towards the Warden appearing in DA:I and being voiced by them, but I'm sure some people would.

 

Now that all the companions and advisors have been revealed things are probably going to start getting too spoilery for my tastes. Think I'm going to make myself a bit scarce for a couple of months, hide down in Off-Topic. Keep being awesome people in this thread.
