"You'll be visiting the best parts of Ferelden and Orlais, both central areas"
Fingers crossed for Val-Royeaux. I fear we'll be confined to Halamshiral.

I wonder if @Cameron__Lee is aware of the flood of romance debates happening on the internet right now because of him ![]()
Oh I am. I checked the forums afterwards and quietly backed away from the mess we'd caused lol
Awww, poor Mike. You don't offer a man lunch and then tell him it was just to pump him for information!
In the unlikely event that any BW devs are ever in Bloomington, IN, I will take them to lunch just to enjoy their snarky selves.

I asked that Question 4 times and got no answers so I'm hoping it's true. Cameron said they weren't ready to talk about that so maybe Val Royeaux is in the game.
so did they say anything if mages will have a standard staff melee attack?
No mention of that in particular, no.
ah. ok.I hope they retain the staff melee attack from DA2.
No Zev?

I do too. I can't think of a logical reason they'd remove them.
well.........ya never know....... ![]()
BTW- anyone who wants to see an example of Jon Curry NOT being Zevran, here's a clip of a pretty cool scene from FFXIII. He's Rosch (the bleeding guy).

He was also Ser Landry in Origins. The Knight that confronts the Warden in the Denerim Market District and 'demands satisfaction' for the Wardens betrayal of King Cailan.

Wow... if that guy's not fit to play a Qunari I don't know who is
That's some grade A zealotry right there.
Josephina is only normal woman.
He's too shy for twitter, but the same cinematic designer who worked with me on Liara in ME3, Richard Boisvert, also did Josephine's scenes.
Thanks guys. I am twitter-shy...
Dude did you just pick a sack of potatoes as your avatar.

she sounds like my perfect diplomatic representative... but hopefully I get to do or watch some of this political maneuvering.
Yup. She's there to aid you but we didn't want to take away player agency, especially as the Inquisition grows in importance.

I went to bed right after they started answering questions, slept for eight hours, woke up, and spent two hours catching up on this thread. (I sometimes had to stop to get food, make the bed, etc.) Now I feel like I need to lie down again.
On the one hand: no pets, no Zevran, no Shale, and no Cassandra romance for my female qunari. But on the other: voice actors! Unique companion specialisations! Surface dwarf background confirmed! JOSEPHINE!!! EIGHT ROMANCES!!!
I facepalmed at the accidental reveal of Alistair's parentage. I don't mind Fiona being his mother (although that conversation with Loghain now makes no damn sense) but I wish we hadn't found out like this.

3 But then I stop, because that assumption, the idea that these are part of me, would've felt absurd this time last year.

Okay, correction, everybody EXCEPT DAVE grew as a person while making the game.
I may have shrunk a little, in fact.
Gods be praised, I've reached the end of it.
Again.
BioWare, you're making it really hard to stay calm till October, you know?
Meh, you probably do.
Not me! Every character I write is a Mary Sue or a Mary Stu. I just think, "What would *I* do in this situation?" And voila.Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekesOkay, correction, everybody EXCEPT DAVE grew as a person while making the game.

Which part??
Just the parts involved in human empathy. No biggie, really.

Shale was confirmed to not return?
Can I get some clarification on what exactly was said regarding companion specs?
