We know about five: Cassandra, Dorian, Sera, Cullen and Josephine.

 

That leaves Vivienne, Bull, Solas, Blackwall and Varric and an unknown person who is neither a companion nor an advisor for the remaining three slots. There are some hints about Iron Bull being one of those options, but we don't know for sure.

 

If there's a full romance with someone outside the dozen people who make up the core of the Inquisition, I suspect it will be a woman and Vivienne won't be an option after all. That's just a guess, however.

Sorry to sink your ship but you forgot Solas.   And from the information we have I gather it will be something like this:

 

Dorian - gay

Sera- gay

Viv - bi

Josephine - bi

Bull - bi

Solas - Bi

Cass - straight

Cullen - straight

I think the Vivi inclusion has been ramped up because there was a question on Raptr that said now that we know Vivienne is a LI can you confirm if she's bi or not, even though they never confirmed she was a LI to begin with.

Why were people so surprised about Alistair being a half elf? I thought that was common knowledge after the first book.

I'd really love clarification on that - Cameron was the one who said there are eight romances, but was it him who said that there was at least one romance outside the companions/advisors, or was it Mark or Mike? And if so, do we know if they all have a shared definition of 'romance'?

 

I mean, I'm perfectly delighted if the eight romance options include an NPC not on our list of twelve, but I feel like we need to confirm this.

The reason not everyone thought that Fiona was Alistair's mother is that in DAO Loghain thinks Rowan was still alive when Alistair was born.

I know it's a slim-to-none chance but I will be a bit let down if Blackwall isn't a romance. Of course, I'm happy with who we have so far but thanks to Ms. Aimo I'm a total convert to the idea of Blackwall being an LI.

Because he already appeared in DA2, and there was no room for him in the story. Why does he require a reason to *not* appear?
