For some reason I read this as "Bioware Developers Singing". I'm disappointed now.

So wait, Vivienne is from the Free Marches? That explains the accent. I though Gwendoline Christie voiced her but now I'm just stumped.
I need more than one line to make a better guess as to Viv's VA.
If it's not Natasha Little, she does sound a bit like Helena Bonham Carter, who (I think) DG wanted to voice Morrigan at one time. But I'm probably off.

I mean seriously, the Hawkes, Aveline, and Merrill are from Ferelden, Anders is of course an Ander, Varric is from Orzammar, Isabela is from Rivain, and Fenris is from Tevinter. The only actual Marcher is Sebastian, the black sheep of DA2 companions. I feel like we spent a whole game there and learned nothing about the Free Marches as a culture.

Varric's family is from Orzammar but he was actually born on the surface. He says, "I was born up here" during an Act 1 conversation with Hawke, but I'm not sure that necessarily means Kirkwall.

I think it was said that Varric lived in Kirkwall his whole life, which is why it is very interesting for him to leave, now

This is a bit of a misconception. There is at least one character who is not a companion or an advisor whom you can flirt with. When Cameron said that there were eight romances, he was referring to eight romances within the companions and advisors.

As I recall, his family is from the Anderfels, but he is born and raised Ferelden.
