To be fair, a very large, very vocal part of tumblr thinks the BSN is a raging pile of horsemanure and prefers the small handful of SJWs on their dash over the raging flamewars they believe to happen here.
So tumblr hates the BSN. The BSN hates tumblr. 4CHAN hates everyone. And the Dragon Age subreddit occasionally sends out brave explorers to these other sights it hopes that they'll return unharmed and bearing new information/fanart.
The things that tend to leak out from any of these sights to other parts of the internet will never paint them in the best light. People are always more inclined to notice the drama over the polite, civil interactions that actually make up the majority of posts, because drama is more interesting and eyecatching. Especially when any new drama from these website feeds into their confirmation bias.
To be fair, a Tiny insignificant part of BSN hates tumblr and a tiny insignificant part of tumblr hates bsn and the vast majority of people on all sites could not care any less or even know about the supposed 'inter-site' wars that happen, and it's only that same small amount that obsess over other groups and themselves and vastly over-inflate the numbers on both sides because it makes a more interesting story to pretend
