I agree.  My gut is telling me that if we do get a magazine reveal, it'll probably be part of a  big simultanious reveal-thing,  along with other media....  like Here, for example.

I certainly would love that to happen.

I'm hoping for that as well.  It makes some sense to me, but I also think that a magazine is not the best outlet for the declared "show, not tell" approach.  Screen shots are nice and all, but I think they have something bigger planned.

GI "cover game" isn't just in the magazine with pictures and text. It comes with a hub (DA][ had one, so did Skyrim, Witcher 3, etc. Thief 4 was the latest one). The hub have interviews and videos about all sort of things (music, characters, plot, etc). They can also release a gameplay video of the game outside of any convention/presentation.

They did a similar thing exactly two years ago for Mass Effect 3, so I guess it's not an unprecedented marketing strategy in terms of EA's approach to its Bioware games. 

Edit: There was a hub for DA2, as well, like you said.

The game promises that players will be able to “think like a general and fight like a Spartan,”

It almost seems like a tradition of Bioware when you look at it that way.

I suppose a GI reveal is more likely than we all think. I sure hope so, I never knew about these 'hubs' but I really like the look of it and it would be super cool to have DA3 revealed in that fashion with all the details in one place.

Did you hear in the podcast the lil back and forth w/Darrah and Laidlaw? 

Asked abt minor npc's they liked, Darrah said Dagna. Mike was all like aww shucks--I guess that was his answer.

But then Darrah said, "I almost didn't use her cuz I didn't wanna say anything." And Laidlaw was like Whaat? Wha-Whaaat?"

Also, the flexibility they have w/FB engine. Moving the campfire for instance...(Campfires in DA3! Semi-Confirmed!) must save a buttload of time.

She could  potentially bring a great deal of knowledge to the quest.  I bet she knows all kinda stuff by now. I'd like to have her as an ally.
