Hi Cameron! Are you showing 3 different demos at SDCC or 1 demo, 3 times? And will it be a new demo(s) or the one shown at E3?
At G&S we're showing E3 code on PC with controller (we'll show PC interface another time). At MS it's E3 code on XBox One.

Oh, Maker, don't let this thread descend into fish puns! It happened already in the Romance thread.
Yes, this should be moved to another plaice.

Darn.
Nobody has mentioned fishing in the game, as far as I know.
There's hunting though, obviously.
If you call hunting wearing armor and go to the forest looking for bears to kill with your greatsword.

you are killing them for their furs. also back in the good ol' days when people went boar hunting they would wear mail and carry heavy spears, the key part of the hunt being goading the boar into charging you. boar tusks are really dangerous you know.

Is the camera of tactical mode of DA:I always locked to the cursor? Even on PC? Also, can we see the mouse & keyboard UI?
It is not locked in the same way, no. Closer to an RTS

What is he referring to by MS? As in Microsoft's Xbox panel?

MS is Microsoft, yes.
Cool! I've been wanting to see the game running on an Xbox One since that's where I plan to play.
No new DAI demo ![]()
No new DAI demo
Not unexpected. They will just keep showing variations of the E3 build. Easier for them.

No new DAI demo
I feel the same way. I was hoping to see the people we haven't yet. Blackwall, Cole, Cullen, Josephine, and Solas.
It's a shame there's no new demo, but I'm looking forward to seeing the game running on the Xbox One. Any kind of new footage, of this scale - Gamescom? PAX Prime, maybe both.
We are suppose to get new videos soon though, at least they hinted that we'd get videos showing skyhold, the keep (world state), more combat, crafting, and other things
I'd have liked this too, but I didn't think they were going to show a new demo. If they'll do another, it'll probably be for Gamescon.I feel the same way. I was hoping to see the people we haven't yet. Blackwall, Cole, Cullen, Josephine, and Solas.

GamesCom is a big event. So... yes, new demo and trailers on GamesCom.

Indeed. Following on from this time last year, Gamescom and PAX Prime should be the major events that now really set the game up for release. Lots of exciting stuff to look forward to

ShackNews' interview with Mike Laidlaw at E3.
- Not a whole lot new, but Mike does talk about his favorite character in DAI - Sera - towards the end.
"... She's sassy, she's a little trashy. She likes the dirty jokes. But she's very distinct from someone like Isabella. She's very different. She's much more for the people, about the common good. And when you have a whole party of people that are kind of like Lords and Ladies, she has her own kind of network of spies and stuff that she relies upon that are completely different from anyone else. Meaning that her demeanor, her attitude is kinda like a breath of fresh air in the Inquisition. Everyone is like very serious and then she comes along and is like, 'I bought you a hat!'"
