Videos come up if you don't have the time set. Just use the regular URL.

As far as I know all you need to do is post the URL without underlying, linking or highlighting anything on it. Sorry, about my poor explanation, English is not my first language. ![]()

Small tidbit about the potential future marketing timeline:
Yup. IIRC the companion stuff is pretty much done now and we'll be moving on to other aspects including more gameplay and "RPG" stuff.

Does anyone know why everything releases later in the UK?

Does anyone know why everything releases later in the UK?
Because our retailers want release dates to be on tuesdays
(and naturally it can't release anywhere before america)

Basically, yes. Games are released on Tuesdays in the US, and on Fridays in the UK. It's just the way things are done.

It used to be that it was just a cultural thing. New releases in the UK were at a friday, new releases in the usa were at a thursday. I think another reason might have been shipping, since it takes time for the items to get from the usa to uk.
Nowadays with digital downloads, it's mostly publishers being stupid. The brick and mortar stores push publishers to those release dates and the publishers budge.
They curse and curse about the used games market, yet they continue to crawl into gamestops backside and do anything to please them.

So in other words there is literally no good reason. Ugh. Thanks anyway for clearing that up.

They actually didn't confirm Halamshiral is the only city available. They said that we won't have bigj cities full of life, but portions of it (like Halamshiral), not that there aren't any other cities (or better, part of those cities) in DAI.
I won't build my hopes up for more cities, but they didn't technically said there won't be any others.
Pre-order cancelled.
Ok, not really but I'm extremely disappointed. I dislike frolicking in the woods and I was really hoping to see the cultural center of Thedas, Val-Royeaux in all its glory.

dunno about UK but it's basically a logical tradition in Australia for 2 reason. first and foremost always add an extra day to the USA release since America tends to be one day behind (it's not strictly 24hrs) and second pay day has traditionally been Thursday
hence all our games, movies and just about every new thing happens on Thursday

Good, I think we know enough of companions at this point. Now I'm waiting more information on crafting and keep customization. Maybe "gameplay and RPG stuff" includes this.

Noooooooo! How is my character who sleeps everything that moves going to sleep with everything that moves?
I assume if you end a relationship the flirts open up again. So do everyone in recruitment order. Date-dump-date-dump

IIRC the problem was pathfinding for followers in busy streets. Apparently Assassins Creed style cities are still infeasible for party-based games with current technology. Given that so many people complained about Kirkwall's sparse population, they may have decided to avoid cities until the technology improves enough to do it well.Pre-order cancelled.

What does America have to do with the release date? Bioware is a Canadian company, we just share time zones.
Would you really expect them to release it in other countries before Canada?

EA isn't Canadian, though. So there goes that argument, considering Bioware is a division of EA, and even before that, they didn't self-publish.
