The fight scenes in The Masked Empire were extremely well done. Just my opinion as a humble reader who loves detailed but fluid and easy to follow fight scenes. Better than GG Kay.

The article in the tweet explains, but basically very few companies wanted anything to do with it - they saw it as too niche, too charity-handout, and too off-putting to their homophobic owners and/or readers.  Not enough sponsorship, not enough support, not enough attention paid.

I've never read the aforementioned author's writing but Filipe Faria, a Portuguese fantasy author once wrote a duel that lasted for 29 pages without any dialogue.

 

Granted, it was the culmination of a story arc that had been going on for five books but still...beat that.

Why is it such a big deal to talk in this thread during non-business hours when their are very few relevant tweets? Even the few tweets that do come through are for giggles and don't provide new info anyway. It's very easy to check the time/date to skim ahead until you hit work hours so you don't have to read the rest.

The spoiler_bit post didn't actually mention Iron Bull.  It may have been the comment about wanting to #ridethebull didn't have anything to do with it.

 

Either way, I read it more as him listing off all of the possible conditionals for a particular outcome.  Basically - if the romance is started (who's romance, we don't know), and if the romance hasn't been ended, and if the spoiler was completed, *and* you made the right choice, then you'd get whatever outcome he was coding for.  And the last bit was just a 'you didn't hear this spoiler bit' - at least that's how I read it.  I might be wrong, it's been a long time since I played around in scripts for modding Knights of the Old Republic; but I believe the "!" at the start of a phrase is the same as saying "not".   So !male would be 'female'.

The ! does indeed mean "not" in programming speak, depending on the language, although I think that was just pseudo code (and math as well : 3 != 1+4).
