BUFFS That's what they are called.  I wonder if the sparkly stuff is some kind of buff she's cast on them or the party, and that's how it'll look now.

I think she had one from earlier this year, but I'm not certain.  I agree she needs an update to her gallery.

The avatar in the all characters page, I don't know from what trailer was (I think It's old though), but the shots inside her profile are from E3 2013.

Has Varric lost weight? Almost looks like a Halfling in that pic. Still, Bianca remains much the same; like most of the lasses I knew from HS and college.

This has become almost as much of a BSN cliche as saying "slap to the face" and "short end of the stick" in the romance thread, but I think its the angle. Varric's got a very broad chest and back, but he isn't fat. His back's kinda obscured by the tree and Bianca in that picture, while his narrower hips and legs are clearly visible. Based on all the other screenshots Varric's as sturdy as he ever was.

Never said he was fat; asked if he had lost weight as that pic makes him look like a Halfling. Based on other screenshots, he does appear to be 'sturdy', but not in the pic where I made the comment. Never even stated I disliked the pic; simply wanted to know if there was a redesign for some reason (eg; the long walk from Kirkwall and the on-going war was creating a decided lack of supplies for the former resident of The Hanged Man suite).

Like that artwork a lot, as well as the box designs.

I am hoping that varied elemental effects can be made somehow, as I prefer to oppose Dragons with something besides flames. But the FX look great; more realistic than ever, IMO.

Some people just need to accept the fact that the Twitter thread roils and swells with the BioWare workday. When they're tweeting, it's on point, in the off hours the waffling commences. I'm assuming some people won't be happy until this thread is sterilized of anything that isn't a developer-quoted twitter post. Between the quote trains and the helpful nature of everyone in here, I never have a problem finding pertinent information.
