Better a month of polish than months of moaning about bugs any day. Although it does mean enduring hours/days/weeks/months of ridiculous complaints in the meantime, dammit.

It's always more difficult, and more expensive, to fix issues after the title is released.

It really isn't a big delay in the grand scheme of things but I literally just remarked last night that it seemed time was finally progressing very rapidly toward the release date when we had only 77 days to go. We were under 3 full months, in the double digits on days, only 11 weeks and now we are back to over 3 months in the triple digits for days and up to over 16 weeks to go. It almost seems like a mirage in the desert that keeps moving off the closer you get even if we know we will get there soon.

I'm sure there will be a ton of bugs. Not only is it their largest game, but it's their first semi-open world game, and it has content that changes due to the player's actions.

Only a month delay? Well that is hardly a biggy. Thought people's reaction here meant it got delayed to 2015 or something. A month goes fast. I still remember when DA3 was announced back in 2012, and it is now 2014. A month is nothing.
But I can understand the desperation of wanting something sooner rather than later.
I remember waiting what seemed like forever for Mass Effect 3 to come out... and that was over two years ago as well. Time flies. A month will be nothing. Besides, it's not like there aren't other great games coming out between now and then.

For sure. Nothing to do with them, but they face understandably upset people first

Luckily, lots of support from people who just want the best game even if it means waiting a bit
I'm curious what the mindset of Alan was to single handedly tackle the thread devoted to complaining about this delay.

Hah, indeed. Still have nostalgic feelings about those times.
And yes, it's not like there are other things to occupy oneself while the time goes.

True pillars of eternity should be coming out in the next couple of months, but still a little sad this morning.

I'm sure they have their reasons.
I hope it doesn't conflict with the WoD release date. That would suck
Didn't they cancel the World of Darkness MMO? By CCP?

Don't remind me. My poor broken heart. I am left to replay Bloodlines once more, while trying in vain to get a group together for the tabletop RPG
Oh I was devastated. It looked absolutely amazing. *sigh*

Almost crying now. I mean, polish is always good and welcome but more then a month of additional waiting! And I am so afraid it's only the first delay... ![]()
Well, thanks for letting us know. Do we get some cookie for it to make the bad news taste sweeter? Like the last LI announced? ![]()
