has the release of DAKeep been delayed as well or will we still get access to it in approximately September 2014
Still looking, but likely it will bump out as well.
Well today is just getting better and better... ![]()

Comment added to bug 'All glory to Jepler'. I think.. I might be a little tired.
So...any good news today? Like at all? Even just a new picture or something?
I don't wish to derail the thread but I just wanted to add something that caught my eye in the Inquisition page linked to in the DA Twitter feed:

It's very hard to tell but...are these statues of elven archers? If so, I wonder if they are Dalish statues or else possibly represent unique early Chantry statuary (Shartan? Unlikely after the Exalted March against the Dales and as he was a warrior, but I wondered)?

There is only one solution to this delay... a demo must be released on october 7th to placate our hunger...
Given how much time is involved in creating a demo, I do not believe this would have the effect you are hoping for.

Except for the new DAI banner they're using, I think that was about it for today.

Here's the full image of that...

But whether it's Chantry sculpture or Dalish, I have no idea...
>Get demo in October
>Game gets delayed to 2016
Naw, I think it would just hurt the bug crushing process. For this to be delayed two years...I don't even think that's possible.

Why? I thought demo where easier to make.
A new trailer would be fine, but at this point I'm looking forward to more Gameplay/CC/Crafting video.
I am as well... I especially want to see more about the war table... though actually I can imagine a sort of trailer that would a good a job of demonstrating the war table gameplay.

Thank you!
That's much better! It's definitely hard to tell, but this is a very intriguing image either way...
Well, I will have to change my plans and buy another game to play on my vacation...The announce page is a blank page for me, does it say anything about The Art of DAI or the DAI Prima Guide?
Wait... Does this mean the Prima Guide will be out before the actual game now? Maaaan, spoilers ahead.
Probably Dalish since there's a giant wolf (Fen'Harel?) statue in the distance.
Lol - I didn't even notice it at first! I just thought it was some poorly rendered mountainside!

They'll be delayed to launch day too.
I'm curious what the mindset of Alan was to single handedly tackle the thread devoted to complaining about this delay.
Because Allan's a pretty cool guy and he's not afraid to fling himself into the crazy fire that is us fans to try and help clarify things, calm fears, give us insight into the World of the Game Dev, gather feedback... and occasionally tease and sass
... but mostly all of those other things.
Its april 1st right? please tell me its april 1st
Hate to break it to you, but if it was actually April 1st today, your wait would be much longer than it is right now even given the current delay announcement.

Let me put it this way: the team just officially pushed the game release date back over a month. Meaning they did not have enough time to do/fix/polish all of the things they wanted to by October 7th even with all hands on deck working extremely crazy long hours and weekends. And you now want some of those people who are busy working around the clock to get this game out the door... you want some of them to STOP doing that and focus instead on making another demo?
Not trying to be rude or snarky. Just pointing out that when people have to push back a deadline, that probably means there's not a lot of spare time for them to make some extra marketing promotional materials. ![]()

Wow! Good catch...that's fascinating! ![]()

This one is just too depressing.
