I remember much the same debate about the Mass Effect 2 version of EDI, minus the teeth of course.

 

I think the takeaway from that thread was that anything looks like a vagina if you try hard enough.

It's been a while since Bioware did anything new, I am genuinely very excited for this. Even if it does look like a horror game (I HATE horror games).

 

While it seems unlikely for the genre, I hope it still has RPG aspects, at the very least, choosing one's genders.

Dragon Age and Mass Effect are Bioware's two main IPs. 

 

Casey Hudson is currently developing a third one, which looks to be this "Nightmare".

Yeah I'm pretty sure it stands for independent project. Basically it means a new title or series that is of it's own, not affiliated with something else (e.g. mass effect, dragon age, etc.)
