Burn. Oh wait. ~double~ burn.
Patrick Weekes @PatrickWeekes
Two burns and a murder knife.
Our last @dragonage signing is today at 10 at the Dark Horse booth. After that, we have a bit of time to explore SDCC. What's cool?
-A question if the PC version of the game was optimized for the Mantle API was met with a "we can't say", followed by Jessica Merizan saying they are running it on (I thiiiink) an AMD R9 290x GPU, but it would run well on other cards, too (and consoles).
This makes me happy.
I have a 270x, so almost the same. ![]()
Thanks for the info!
I'm not sure precisely when I became a walking advertisement for Bioware. Sneaky @MiniJunkieJL @hilaryheskett pic.twitter.com/cxyjJC2Nu1

Gareth David-Lloyd @Pancheers
TUESDAY 29TH JULY. All day twitter q&a. Gives you all a couple of days to think up q's that aren't 'What's it like to kiss @Team_Barrowman'
- And just a reminder, Gareth is the VA for Solas.
-There were a couple general questions on companions and advisors; the gist is that new characters and returning ones alike were developed with an eye to making it feel they have a life of their own-- e.g., Josephine is carrying on with her own life and interests, "getting up and having breakfast" even if you aren't there to see it. This also may involve relationships between characters, good, bad, and possibly romantic. Returning characters were pulled in because they have a stake and arc in the story, not simply to show up and wave hello. Basically, no gratuitous cameos for familiar faces, and non-static, living personalities for all-- it sounds great.
Good to have it confirmed that they will do what they did in Mass Effect 3 with the followers. ![]()
It was great fun to sit down with Anthony and show him Thedas for the first time“@joystiq: Video preview: http://trib.al/311gCXO ”

Geez, $108 dollars. That's almost as much as the Inquisitor's Edition of the actual game, and that Inquisitor's Edition comes with a lot more stuff.
I'm curious about the in-game items, but I may have finally seen my limit on how much I'm willing to spend on Inquisition stuff. That seems like a lot for a case, a few bookmarks and a pen. (Especially since I'd have to fork out for shipping as well, since I don't know if I could get it in Australia.)

I think it is the same in-game content that comes with the Collector's Edition of the guide.
Yeah, I'm thinking of getting a hardcover edition, but I can't see spending that kind of money after already getting the Inquisitor's Collectible Edition of the game.
If you're trying hard enough, there's a few pieces of new information in that SDCC Gamesfront playthrough. Not the least of which is a quick peek at the Knight Enchanter tree.

That's cool. Was it on Twitter? This is the Twitter thread...
Though there are other places you could post your new found knowledge, I'm sure. I'd love to read all about it there.

True - there is also a Discord Tree and a Discipline Tree I don't remember seeing before.

It is the Strategy Guide's Inquisitor Edition.

Is this the Renegade Paragon stuff now I wonder?
Also that Guide looks awesome, but no way I can spend that much, right now I had to use $ from my preorder so I don't even know if I can get it currently
Spoiler
Discipline looks like ice magic
Discord looks like fire magic
These were DEFINITELY NOT in the E3 demo.
