I liked it, but I also liked his in-game design.  (I'd still love to see him show up in DA:I with this outfit.)

Absolutely loved this concept art. The armour is great and the bald head would have worked well with his tattoos.

i'm in love w/the rogue! i was gonna do a mage first pt, but i think i may have to go back to my roguish roots. it also looks like rogue has that harpoon ability?

 

confession: for sum reason i always feel sorry for the dragon. idk why but it just looks so pitiful with its hurt limbs and barely able to swipe at you anymore and ...it just feels to much like beating up on a trapped animal.

 

i know it will try to eat me and all, but i can't help feeling bad for it at the end like that. maybe after it really does eat me a few times, i won't feel so bad..

The character's name is Lady Couteau and she's the third winner's character

 

She's literally called Lady Knife (Couteau is in french).

 

I'm pretty sure that those statues behind her show up in one of World of Thedas artwork.

Well it's not November yet. I took a very short break and feel a lot better. Bad thing about a break is catching up and not being able (out of date) to comment.

Rolling a mage. Don't like the hippity-hoopity rogues.

Rolling a warrior first personally, mostly because I've never rolled a warrior first before.

I titled the name I wanted him to use as Solas Thread (in honor of those on the Story, Campaign and Characters board), but mentioned my own name in the message box and he decided to say my name so ... now it's more personalized to me? Which I am not dissatisfied with, but I hope you're not all disappointed. d:

Huh, I wonder why the dual dagger rogue has the daggers on his back yet the Weapon and Shield Warrior have the sword on their side now. Seems kinda weird.

I just found this:

Things I've noticed.

• Rogue stealth and backstab. Nice!
• When fighting the dragon, if you fire arrows at it while it is flapping its wings, it will deflect the arrows.
• Saw the dragon get killed. Nice!
• Saw the get over here move (AKA the Scorpion move) In this case it pulls you towards the enemy.
• The diving move will be very useful for rouges and warriors (to dodge attacks)

This put my mind at ease about playing a Rogue.

Well, he'd know what he needed to know about the background of his character, I would assume.

Patrick Weekes already joked that Solas's battle cry could be "It's complicated". I think it's just something Solas use a lot.

He might not know the lore, but I imagine he knows the character he plays.

 

But Mr Weekes said in his interview that Solas' battlecry could be "it's more complicated than that!", so that's likely what's being referenced. 

 

(Or it could be more complicated than that...   )
