How many actors don't cosplay? Isn't that just part of the job? What is the film Lincoln if not Daniel Day Lewis taking an Abraham Lincoln cosplay up to 11?!

I think cosplay generally has the implication of "just for fun." The person you're quoting, I believe, is just asserting that she is a legitimate voice actor who happens to enjoy cosplaying, rather than just some random cosplayer Bioware met at Comic-Con and decided to throw in a VO studio.

Correct. And while I can appreciate the tongue-in-cheek "isn't acting cosplaying?" thing, in actuality, even as someone with the most basic of theater training, I can tell you that acting is SIGNIFICANTLY more than just putting on a costume. 

 

I'm starting to wonder how Vivienne got her hands on Malcolm's Honour.

I'd headcanon that after mage Hawke saved the day thousands of reproductions were made...kind of like The Shield of the Knight Herself.

 

As for Viv's look...I find her look less vacant and more focused, personally. I imagine with all that power ready to burst out of your body you've got to keep even.
