Slackers. We're hard at work in Mtl! Though by hard at work I might mean giving DAI a whirl and maybe tweeting about it...

If the volume of emails received btw 12am - to now is any indication, this pre-Gamescom week is gonna be busy.

Ooh, so maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, then? A video a week sounds nice.

I was hoping for the combat Q&A today, and a new gameplay features series video tomorrow.

Who is your favorite Dragon Age love interest? p.s. very excited to hear you as Josephine!
Isabela, for sure! She's wonderful
And thank you!!!!
Is Isabella your favorite DA character?
Yes! I think she's my #1, or at the lowest in my top 3.
What race/class combo are you planning on playing for your first playthough of #DragonAgeInquisition?
FFFF. I'm ... leaning? Towards elven mage. Maybe. Still trying to decide if that's what I want to do with her.

i'm hoping they'll wind up being a weekly thing, but they have said there's no set schedule and they'll put them out as they get them done...

Can you tell us if Dalish face tattoos will be available for character creation in DAI? (I know, I worry about weird stuff)
If you play an elf, absolutely.
User
Please don't restrict character creation options by race.
Assuming you're talking about dwarves, they continue to not be able to be mages.
User
Actually, I was hoping to be able to put Dalish tattoos on non-elves. I apologise for my imprecision.
There are tattoos for all races. They are not the same.
Makes sense though.
It is interesting that they're going to separate tattoos by race now, and like you say, it makes sense... Now I'm curious to see what a "human" tattoo will be like.
No it doesn't. If the player can think of a good reason why his Qunari Inquisitor has Dalish tattoos, or of the player has a specific tattoo idea in mind, and the one in-game that comes closest is Dalish (or Dwarven, or whatever), why not let him?Makes sense though.

Given modern technology, they should let us resize and rotate and place the tattoos ourselves. And not restrict them by race. This may be assuming that tats are not the same designs. Believe it may have to do more with sizing tats to varied racial faces and bodies rather than differing designs. Will have to see before passing judgment.

A neck tattoo in Elvish that the inquisitor thought meant great warrior but really means trollop fart smells.
Tattoos were restrictred by race also in Origins, it's not exactly a new thing: a human noble didn't have the option of using a castless dwarf tattoo, nor could a dwarf commoner have a dalish vallaslin, and so on.
wish they would reveille bit more soon but then again its 3 months away
I didn't like it then, either. In DAO, there was a Dalish tattoo I wanted on my human mage.Tattoos were restrictred by race also in Origins, it's not exactly a new thing: a human noble didn't have the option of using a castless dwarf tattoo, nor could a dwarf commoner have a dalish vallaslin, and so on.

Really... Hmm, maybe I have a mod which allows me to use any tattoo in mine.
David Gaider on whether Morrigan was originally created to be romance-able by both genders...

I wasn't questioning if one should like it or not, and I apologize if it came off that way. I was just saying that it's not exactly news, since everyone seemed so shocked.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm not bothered by it, but I can see why someone might not like this.
