Uhhhh, the CG trailer showed an army of Templars going to war with an army of witches that all looked conspicuously like Morrigan. Instead of rushing to insult people why don't you use your head and employ some thought?

That image flashed for 1/100th of a second.
And people call me nitpicky.

@Mike_Laidlaw Describe the DA3 "The Fade" sections with one word: Surprising? Nonexistant? Familiar? Revamped? Essential? Poutine?

@John_Sp4rtan Vascilliatory.

So did Mike make a typo or did he just invent a new word?

 Typo.

So. Sounds to me like they are hesitant on whether they should include any fade sequence this time. Or just being cryptic as per usual.

This is interesting. I had a love/hate thing for the fade in DAO, I found the whole idea really awesome, but the section just dragged forever. In DA2 the fade was cool, but it was just the templar hall with a trippy filter not to say I didn't like it, the only thing I wanted more of for the fade aspect of DA2 was to talk to Justice, I missed that guy . Anyway I would love to see the fade make a return in DA3 as long as it doesn't drag for hours upon hours..

Expect it all you want. ME3 showed that they don't feel the need to be honest about their games.

The comment about the ending was a bad call (which actually fits rather well with the rest of it), but I'm not a "one strike and you're out" kinda gal. Furthermore, the guys popping in here from time to time do a good job of earning my trust and I'm pretty sure they didn't work on ME3.

I would buy a used car from either Blair or Allan any day of the week (Chris and David only on Fridays, but they aren't here as much).

They didn't just tell a lie about the ending though. They told the lie then sold the lie, claiming it wasn't a lie. They even retroactively denied it was a lie after the Extended Cut DLC came out, citing the "refuse" ending as proof that there were more than just the 3 endings.

I personally liked the Fade sequences in both games.

No, but it's not like that scene was a huge part of the trailer. It was simply there, along with the myriad of other scenes that also flashed at nearly subliminal speed, for a dramatic action-y effect. I'm willing to bet pretty much no one even noticed it. Besides you.^_^

Well, you lost that bet. When the trailer came out and was dissected here many, many threads and discussions were made about it. Several devs even hinted that it was an important event.

Oh sh!t:

Ryan Loe: "So, I found out today that Friday is my last day at BioWare. Nothing to do with performance. Just belt tightening. I'm not the only one. You don't realize how much of how you see and identify yourself is with your work until you no longer work there."

Sadness. Losing your job is always tough, but losing it when the project you are working on is in full swing is doubly so.

Best of luck, Ryan.

Okay. Fine. So now I *really* understand why the devs have decided not to show us anything this time around.
Anyway, that scene just looks like mages vs templars to me, which is what we got, and what we will get in the next game.

Well no news and people getting fired.
How cheerful !

Anyway good luck to the Bioware staff losing their jobs , I feel really bad for them ...
I mean ...in the middle of a project and to learn about it like ...in 2 days you're out...

And i thought Bioware was looking for some new blood...I don't get it.

Schumacher just made me laugh. Can't have thing get out of control. rotfl. Competition in other places aka sultan of swing. How are they aka Bioware going to make sales ? Supposedly no toolkit which if true discourages the pc players. Reduced preorders due to fans feeling they were burned in the past. They need a big splash of an announcement reveal so they had better have something that will really motivate the fans.
