We've been told there wouldn't be a playable demo.
That's just lame! They've been showing their demo off at conventions but aren't making it playable for others?

Hardly an unusual situation.

So is the Inquisitor no longer called the Inquisitor by everyone else? It seems Cullen and that Avvar General are calling the main character The Herald or The Herald of Andraste

It seems like a way to break up the mundanity of being called "Inquisitor" all the time.
(Like, Hawke had "Champion" and Shepard had "Commander")
I think in those situations, Cullen was using Herald as a way to rally troops (the Inquisition's soldiers?) by appealing to their faith in Andraste, and the Avvar guy was contrasting the Inquisitor as an avatar of Andraste with himself as an avatar of whatever that god was.
I still expect we'll be called Inquisition a lot, but it's kinda neat to have a second name. As people have said, it's not a name we can choose - it's a title that other people have given us, based on their interpretation of what the Inquisitor actually is.
(And if you think about it, "Herald of Andraste" is literally some sort of prophet.)

That's right, Korth.
I was never very au fait with my Avvar lore, probably because we've barely met them in the game.

and some people from the Inquisition will use 'Eminence' unless it's removed, I hope not.

Agreed. Those dark skintones are much better.I love the new dark skin tones I'll probably be making every single one of my human characters some shade of black.
In this respect, certainly, FB3 is an improvement.

Oh yeah, forgot about that one.
It's a nice way to get a variety of names, otherwise everyone calling you the same thing would get super boring very quickly.

Perhaps that's it. I was just a little thrown at the fact that Cullen was referring to us wth The Herald title as well. Maybe as we gain more notoriety in Thedas, stories start spreading that we are The Herald of Andraste. The Inquisition starts using that title as a way to get more people behind them.
Of course it also seems it has negative effects, like having Avvar tribes wanting to challenge us.

Yeah, it's been mentioned a bit before that some people in Thedas take the Inquisitor's survival as a sort of miracle from Andraste and/or the Maker, and start seeing her/him in a very religious light.
Presumably we'll be able to encourage or aver that description, but I don't think doing so is going to stop people using it if they really do feel that we're some sort of divine prophet or messenger.
