They wouldn't of done well in battle.
Why not?

I'm pretty sure a weave like that would protect against arrows and sword attacks.
Didn't you hear about that girl that was shot in the head and survived thanks to her weave? I am serious.

Funny thing, I'm hoping for the opposite of what you're hoping for. Still, I'm happy if either of us get what we want. POSITIVITY!
Im of the opinion that more options for people to enjoy a game is a good thing.
I want people to be happy with DA:I both in SP and MP (hopefully). ![]()
If you can't decide whether your head is supposed to be above or below your ass, I'm judging the hell out of you.
Aye, but then it isn't preemptive judging is it? ![]()
Why not?

Hahaha, probably. But nah. ![]()
I'm open minded. If I'm in the minority of wanting just a single player game then I'm good with the majority getting MP. I just personally would rather DA not bother with it.
It seems people who don't want it are in 2 camps about it (or both of these
) - they either don't want the developers to put time and energy into it because it's not important to them personally and think the time would be better spent on other features, or they are against its usage being required to get certain gameplay-related endings or other things. It *is* a single-player game, so everything attainable or doable should be so without the use of MP. That didn't work out so hot last time. I don't think they're against other people having fun if they like MP, though.
In the end, though, it's all just opinion and it all boils down to how much time the developers have and if they even think it would fit the story. I'm grateful for what we're getting - it looks fantastic and I can already tell I'm going to be neck-deep in it for a long time to come.
You like trailers? I like trailers. This is a trailer. It's about bad guys. https://www.youtube....v=yHeWOQvVRd8 …
So judgmental. How do you know they're bad guys? Maybe the four-armed creature was about to ask you 'WHEN DOES THE BUS COME?'
LOL!

Part of it for me is that the last two go arounds were less than stellar in my opinion(DA2, ME3) so I want Bioware to focus on getting back on track with their SP and leave MPs out until they're back on a groove, and there are so many games shoehorning MP in that I don't want to see DA fall into the same pit.
Watched the new trailer again and I swear that I've heard Cole's voice previously (DA2?) - anyone else figure out who it is?
EDIT: Never mind, forgot his VA was already announced, lol.
Have you seen Head 2 and Head 3?

Yeah, Mythbusters busted it.
Though it might block arrows...

K. Guess not, then.

Yay ranged combat!
Nah, you need to BOLIEVE
Not a peep!
It was improbable there would be...
As a dev, gotta say, the 'lazy' criticism is perhaps the one that bugs me the most.
You can disagree with a decision without calling the people behind it 'lazy', as that is so rarely the case in this industry.

Being an expert on lazy, I can tell that word doesn't apply to anything Bioware's doing.

What the hell? People are really calling the devs lazy? For what?
Some people I swear ![]()
When I see the trailers and other vids of the game, you can see all the hard work, love and tears the devs are putting into this game. Seeing some work late nights to work on a bug/cinematic/feature isn't lazy ![]()

I would disagree with you about you being an expert on lazy, but I am too lazy to type out a long and detailed post about why I think that. ![]()
But seriously, BioWare is anything but lazy.
Funny thing but the people who call the devs in gaming lazy would lose their minds if they had to deal with that grind
Still no closeups of qunari male in CC. This makes me a sad panda.
